I have a Sony Bravia. The TV recently had a problem with the Picture. When I turned the TV on, there was only sound, no picture, and left it on for about 15 minutes, turned it off and turned on again, both picture and sound came on. I contact New Image TV and let them know about the problem I had with the TV, and asked them to come out my house for service. The Gentleman told me that he will send someone (named Ken) out to my house to do some testing on the TV and let me know what was the problem. There will be a $69.95 for service charge. The man named Ken came to my house and I let him know about the problem with the TV, and he told me that it was a Inverter problem (did not explain what is the Inverter....), without any testing or diagnostic, and asked me to pay him $74.05 for service charge (....and if I want to have it fix, it could cost me $380....I did some researchs and found out that the Blacklight Inverter only cost $49....Wow.....What a RIP-OFF, and infact if he was right about the problem, without diagnostic and it would take around 45 minutes to replace the backlight inverter. I would not recomend them to anyone...especially call them to your house for service....BIG ZERO (0) for my rating for this company.
