New Horizons Women's Care

We have recieved numerous third party Dr. bills well after the birth of our daughter. Apparently this OBGYN has the right via their contract to issue ANY tests that they deem ""needed"" at the patients expense. None of these tests are covered under their package. We unfortunately went with this OBGYN because of their location and the fact that they delivered at the hospital near our home. Prior to the birth, they sent us to the hospital for a routine Fetal Stress test (because they were closed on the weekends) which was normally a $40 deduct. at their office but we were charged over $2000 because it was considered by the hospital as a emergency triage service(which it was not). We also recieved a bill from the hearing doctor that charged $400 to be on standby for complications in the delivery room. You would think three doctors and four nurses would be enough. Another bill to test the placenta? Which we never consented to or given the results of. Be careful because this OBGYN disguises it's low package price by outsourcing several third party doctors that you will be responsible for paying. more

I'm 7 months pregnant. Everything about New Horizons Women's Care is fabulous! I've only met 2 doctors and both are wonderful! The office staff is always nice and helpful. The ladies who do the ultrasound are as sweet as could be and take the time to answer all of our questions. I go to the Chandler office and feel fortunate to have such a wonderful OB/GYN!!! more

I've only been to the Chandler office, but I never had any problems during the whole pregnancy. I loved the woman who administered my ultrasounds. Also, I really liked all four of the doctors I met out of their staff (Reyes-Hailey, Swarup, Villa, and Marotz). Swarup was definitely my favorite, though, as well. I don't know what the other ladies are complaining about. I would say that a few of the nurses could be cheerier, but beyond that, great office. more

I've been through 2 pregnancies with this clinic (Chandler and Casa Grande locations). Although I'm not entirely thrilled with certain doctors...some of them are great. They have always answered my questions truthfully. I noticed that the other reviews talk about bad staff, but honestly I have never had a problem with the staff there. When reading reviews on OBGYNS take the review with a grain of salt. Remember most women went there when their hormones were raging and sometimes the staff may have seemed as being idiotic, but you never know how the person treated the staff in the first place! The front desk and check-out girls have always been great to me at the Chandler clinic. They have never lost my test results. more

The staff here has drawn myself along with many others to never return. They mess up appointments, lose bld work, have inaccurately placed patient orders, are rude and unprofessional, do not communicate between departments, do not return phone calls, and are completely uneducated about the practice. And to think, these are the people you have to go through first if ever you have an OB problem or are in labor. Not trusting my baby's life with them- no way! I have never in my life had a problem as big as this from any other physicians office or ANY other business for that fact. It is unfortunate because the physicians here are really great, if only they knew about how their incompetent staff has driven people away. more

This office is a chain of OBGYN offices around town.\r \r I have mostly visited Ahwatukee and Tempe offices and both have some of the WORST, CLUELESS, USELESS doctors I have ever experienced in my whole life and I am not so young either.\r Some of these doctors DO NOT DESERVE TO BE DOCTORS AT ALL and I am pretty sure they are making pretty good money!!!\r \r THESE DOCTORS CAN REALLY HARM YOU!!!\r \r STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE, especially the Ahwatukee and Tempe locations BEFORE IS TOO LATE!!! I went to this office when I had my frist baby in '06. I'm now returning because we're expecting again. Overall I was satisfied with my experience here. The office staff is not the most friendly or helpful unless you get firm with them. I really like the nurses and I'm okay with most of the doctors. Dr. Swarup is my favorite and that's why I keep going back. He's been a good OB for me. He is great about answering questions and not making you feel dumb for asking them. He did a great job at guiding me through my first pregnancy even when I had lots of complications. Pros: Great waiting area, a kids play area, new facility Cons: Front desk service more

The doctors are just ok and always seemed rushed, out of 7 that I've met I will only make appointments with one. Unfortunately, she was not the one that delivered my baby. The office staff at the chandler location is horrible, they must all hate their jobs and the billing department is one of the worst I have ever delt with. They are located on the east coast with hours of 8-4 or 8-2EST. Everyone I've spoken to to get a mistake resloved has been incredibly rude and to top it off, I was sent to collections after they failed to apply a payment correctly. Look elsewhere for OB care. I need to be able to call and talk to someone when it works for me. I think they should answer phones duringin lunch time. more
