New Era Optical

The staff is rude. I couldn't even begin to write half of the unnecessary, inexplicable behavior of the staff at New Era. Not only would they not explain the insurance when I had a question, they replied with condescending remarks. It turned into them getting loud and abrupt all while the doctor stood and watched as I was defenseless against this random attack. Then, as I waited in the office (too long for me showing up on time), the staff began discussing their ""bra size"" in front of the entire room of patients. I was mind-boggled and beyond annoyed at everything that went on during this spectacle of an appointment. At the time of departure, I asked for my complete eye prescription and they were reluctant because I was not purchasing glasses with them. Long story short... RUN from here. The service is the most unprofessional mess I've seen in a LONG time. more

The office staff in New Era Optical are pathetic. Yes, at first when I went into New Era for the first time for an eye exam, I thought they were okay. During the exam, they told me that I needed to come back because they thought I had something really wrong with my eyes, okay. That's fine. I told them that I would call them when I have time free because work/child is way more important then the doctors right now. Well, I just recieved a message telling me that I needed to schedule another appointment. then, they called my fiance right after stating that they didn't think I was responsible and that maybe he would have some type of influence on me. I called them back and told them they were very unprofessional and needed to get it together and that they would never have me as a patient again. more

if you dont mind waiting, this is the eye doctor to see. she is very pleasant, wonderful, takes pride in her profession. office staff is very nice also... Pros: great care Cons: crowded office more
