The saleswoman I spoke to was courteous, friendly and helpful from the moment she answered the call. She gave me a lot of valuable information about the company and money saving tips. Seeing how thorough she was I decided to give them a chance. Two days after I booked their loading team was in my house. They worked very fast and loaded all my things from a 3 bedroom condo into their truck within 3 hours. They were equally quick with the unloading. Make sure to have lots of Gatorade and water ready, especially if you have a ton of stairs like I did. From the first second you call them, the difference will be noticeable. more

I used New City Movers to move my things from Skokie to Ukrainian Village in the city and they were very good at their job. They ensured over the phone that everything was handled correctly. This company was recommend to me by my Realtor at Jameson Properties in Wicker Park. I had used movers in the past and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. As a single woman I often worry about having contractors in my home, however from the moment Leo and his crew arrived I knew I was in good hands. They did a small amount of packing for some last second items, however the rate wasn't outrageous at all. New City Moving did a great job with my move. When I spoke with Jessica on the phone she was extremely professional, and willing to work with me on the short elevator window I had for the building. The movers showed up 30 minutes before time to prep all of my stuff and the second the elevator window began so did the movement of my furniture. The move ended an hour less than the estimate, so the final bill reduced. I couldn't have asked for more. I can't imagine moving any other way again!
