My experience with Nest Seekers, in particular with one of their real estate agents: Shu-Fen Striedter was an absolute outrage and nightmare. As a real estate agent, she is bound to represent her clients ethically and fairly.
We saw none of the qualities she describes on her profile. From experience, she is NOT ?extremely organized, efficient or detail oriented? as she claims on her profile. On the contrary, she mis-represented our offer price to the sales team, as evidenced through e-mail chains. When she approached our family with her revised number, we obviously declined and questioned her intentions.
Shu-Fen could not provide us with a sufficient reason why she mis-represented our offer. On top of the already present lunacy, she the continued to berate my family, in particular my younger sister (who, by the way, is in her 20s) calling her a ?spoiled brat? and to ?see a therapist? when we approached her about the conversation she had with the buildings sales team. All of this verbiage is referenced in numerous unprofessional e-mail chains, which can be forwarded, screenshot or printed for evidence.
Additionally, the knowledge Shu-Fen claims to have is clearly not represented in her work with our family. Yet again, in another e-mail she threatened to disbar our family, due to ?illegal? rebates. Shu-Fen, let me educate you on your profession, rebates are COMLETELY legal and part of almost all real estate transactions. I would also encourage you to ?seek out a therapist?, as informing foreign buyers that you received your MBA from Wharton is a clear ethical violation, as your internet profile clearly states you went to Baruch.
A 40yr professional should never degrade any conversation to the level spoken to my family; especially to my sister who is a woman 20 years her junior. It is a pathetic show of class and professionalism. I will never recommend this woman to work with any family. In particular, any foreign families as she will, without a doubt, take advantage of their language skills and use the family?s lack of real estate knowledge to her advantage.
