Great Work! 5/4/2012

Went way over and above what I could have expected. I had a Power issue with my Dell PC. Nerds came over the same day within a few hours, with the proper parts. They fixed it within an hours time, tested it. And then they proceeded to assist in wiping some viruses from my PC and they provided some valuable tips for PC maintenance. I will for sure use these guys again. They are the best computer repair service in Santa Barbara as far as I'm concerned. Thank You! more

SUPBERB CUSTOMER SERVICE 4/27/2012

I have been a customer of Nerds to the Rescue for over ?six-years? and the PERSONAL SERVICE I GET IS EXCELLENT! They are HONEST, HELPFUL, AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. I had a laptop with a display problem, they could have sold me a major repair, but did not, and instead they explained it was a simple fix. In today's economic times it would have been easy to gouge me, but they didn't. INTEGRITY is important!! more

FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!!! 4/26/2012

Thursday morning and I boot my computer up and have a black screen!!! I managed to restore back 2 weeks but lost ALL MY DOCUMENTS!!!!! I near had a heart attack. I called Nerds to the Rescue and within an hour a tech named Charlie came to my house in and in no time flat, all my files were back!!!!! He took the time to explain what had happened and how to avoid future problems. He treated me with the utmost respect instead of somebody that does not understand all the insides of a computer. If you have a problem, you could not make a better choice than to call Nerds to the Rescue....you will not be sorry...you will be thrillled! Thank you guys! more

Friendly and knowledgeable 4/13/2012

Called them yesterday morning to see what's wrong with my computer. The guy on the phone listened to all of my questions and suggested what was the problem. He was very friendly, explained he was busy but could squeeze me in sometime during the day. Amazingly fast and friendly service and they definitely know their stuff! Will come back again. more

Great Employees, Lying Advertising 7/19/2011

This company advertises that they do NOT charge you if they don't fix the problem, with a promise that they don't charge by the hour, but by the job. I had a tech come to my office to fix 3 problems. He spent an hour but was only able to fix one of them (which was the easiest to resolve), yet I was charged for a full hour's labor despite the fact that two of my three issues remained unresolved. Very fraudulent advertising indeed. I would avoid this company at all costs more

OMG - I am so disappointed 6/7/2011

I have used this service before with great results. However, dealing with the ""lady"" who answers the phone has always been a challenge. Today was the capper. I had to cancel my prior appointment (approx. 2-3 weeks ago) at the last minute because my mother, who died on June 1, was struggling and needed me. I called them at the last minute to let them know that I could not meet the repair person (Shon) at my house, that I was with my terminally ill mother. Virus 4/11/2011

I had an online test to take for accounting over at UCSB when I found out my computer was infected with some weird program asking for 80 to take virus off. I called the guys over at nerds and the came out right away. In less than 2 hours they had me up and running. more

Honest staff 4/10/2011

I called them when trying to find a new set of HP cooling fans for my ZD8000 (2004 model). They were honest and straight up that they ""could"" sell me a new fan step up from HP but they suggested that I try one of their COMPETITORS!!! for a better price. The time and $$ involved on that laptop isn't worth it.They even went on that i would be better off getting a new one on sale at best buy or order online. When the day comes that I need some other repairs I'll check these guys out for sure!! Any company that will openly suggest that their competition is better suited for an application means that they take their own work seriously and with integrity!! more

Oh...My...God...These guys are terrific! I thought I lost all of my photos of my mother who passed away recently. I don't know what kind of voodoo magic these guys perform in their ""lab"" (yes, they call it that), but they found all the photos! Anyway, I'm telling everyone about these guys! When a company gives outstanding service, it needs to be acknowledged. These guys were great, on time and knew their stuff. My only complaint is that it's hard to get them out the same day because they're so popular, but I'd rather do business with someone who's got more business than they can handle versus someone who's sitting around waiting for phone calls. Anyway, just wanted to give a shout out. more

A Very Happy Customer 4/1/2010

Extremely helpful 10/11/2009

We called the Nerds because we hard drive crashed. We thought we lost all of our photos and would need to buy a new computer. Their tecnician fixed the computer cheaper than buying a new one and managed to recover all of our data from the old drive that we thought was lost. I will only trust my data to this company from now on. Pros: The technician that came out was amazing! more

Very Poor Customer Service 10/5/2009

My wife used this service a few years ago with a satisfactory result. She called today to schedule another service and the woman who answered the phone, upon hearing her name, asked if I was her husband. Surprised, she said yes at which point the woman refused to provide service claiming that I was unhappy with their service. I called back and advised the woman, who would not give her name or the name of the owner, that I had never used their service. She was rude and hung up. I don't know who she was but she is clearly crazy. Does anyone know who the owners are? I would like to report this employee. I would like an apology. One of the owners of this company is not professional at all. Don't waste your time and money arguing with a company that doesn't care about its customers. We had a problem, we called to be serviced, they couldn't make it, we had to turn elsewhere because we are a business we needed computers up and running right away and so threatened to sabotage our internet service if we called some one else... Pros: fast effecient set up Cons: they may be to busy for you and your company if your computer freezes up more
