My mother had been telling me how she had been less and less able to walk, in the grocery store and the mall, etc. I begged her for about 3 years to check out NeoVita. I thought her feet could also have something to do with her back and hip pain. One day while she was visiting me I needed to stop in to have NeoVita do one of their free adjustment to my inserts and my mom decided to let the saleswoman assess her feet and check to see if she needed the inserts. Well I don't know if their "test" is a trick or real but I just know the inserts changed my life. My mom was convinced to buy the basic insert (the same as I bought) and after a couple of weeks she found she was able to walk and be on her feet without pain just as she had been years before. She hadn't been able to do more than the briefest trip to the mall for shopping and with her new inserts she was able to be on her feet to enjoy shopping with her friends again. NeoVita really made a positive difference in her life. The inserts are spendy but about one third of the cost of custom orthotics (which I found to be useless in my experience). You don't have to buy everything they try to sell you. The basic insert and the rubber pads should do it. You only need the "trainers" they try to talk you into in order to be able to fit your inserts into sexier women's shoes the big basic inserts won't work in. PS. You do need to wear them all the time or your symptoms will come back. more

I had been suffering such severe heel pain that I had to take considerable time off of my job as a flight attendant. Cortisone shots in the heels, the podiatrist taping my feet and rest at home off my feet did nothing to help. The custom orthotics the Dr. prescribed also did nothing! Something drew me into the Alderwood NeoVita store. A courteous and knowledgeable salesman assessed my feet and explained how the NeoVita inserts (they can't legally call them orthotics because they aren't specifically custom molded to your feet) might be able to help me even though the custom orthotics I had did nothing. I decided to buy the full insert and two pairs of heavy rubber pads to go over the inserts. I passed on the "trainers" the salesman strongly advised me to buy as well. Best $300 I have ever spent!!! Let me tell you, as an international flight attendant, I couldn't even go with crew members walking in Paris!!! I was afraid they would get tired of hearing me whining, " Could you guys slow down a little? I just can't walk fast because my heels feel like I'm waking on broken glass!". After getting those NeoVita inserts and going through the adjustment period for a couple of weeks, slowly increasing the wearing time (like adjusting to contact lenses) I am walking again!!! I walked all over Paris and Manhattan, London, Frankfurt and Tokyo! That was in 2002 and I am still without heel pain. Thank you NeoVita!
