Best Hummus anywhere! 6/28/2004

I've eaten a lot of hummus, and this is the best...the falafel is just as good and the dolmas are wonderfully fresh and flavorful. This is my favorite place to pick up a picnic lunch! Their pita is unbeatable (try the sesame) and the date mamoul are not to be missed. The remodeling is fabulous and has really made the atmosphere appealing. Pros: fabulous food, reasonable prices, nice people more

but as close as I'm gonna get outside of home. Everyday a different feature dish, and a great place to eat during a fast. Some great vegan dishes, such as Mjuderra, or rice and lentils. Yummy! Also Mounir (one of the owners) is friendly and helpful. Want some of the latest Arabic music? Or just some hard to find ingredient? Some True Olives? This is the place to go. Cheap and Tasty 5/15/2002

This is a great meal deal where vegetarians can eat just as well as meat-eaters. Everything--from the kibbeh to the hummus to the spinach pies--is worth trying. The baklava and other fresh-baked goodies are heavenly endings to a sweet meal. Before you leave, take home a bag or two of the freshly baked pita bread more
