This place was a nightmare! The receptionist was very rude. She snapped at patients and I heard her referring to the patient before me using vulgar remarks. I had several tests done while there and was given wrong reports , YES someone elses results!!!!!!!! TWICE! The wonderful Dr. Berstom mention below is NOT even a doctor as I thought also she is a NP and yes she is very nice but yeah I wanted a doctor. The real Dr. who put her name behind the place is extremely good too bad she couldn't find a reliable staff. Dr. L Faracelli. The few times I did get to see her I was quite pleased and when I told her about the crazy receptionist I found out a few short weeks later the place had closed. I can only assume that more than few had bad experiences there since they gave only a three week notice on the closure but it did not upset me cause I had already put in a request to have my file moved. This was yet another hardship for my new Dr. who exclaimed to me that the office refused to send my file after 4 requests and they said they were too busy. Turns out that I had to go pick up my file from another office after they closed down. If you are struggling to get your file from these people so you can have closure and crack the experience up to being a bad memory you will have to call this number-480-949-7340 which is rerouted to a Dr. Williams. South of Shea on 90th street. I feel bad for them because they are bombarded with unhappy patience with multiple horror stories about this place. If they do not answer the phone its because they are busy but keep trying as it took me a week to get through too. Good luck. Pros: The nurses were very friendly and they had a great location. If my Dr. Debra Bergstrom is accepting Patients I would recommend her to every person out there. My husband tells me she has FNP beside her name which stands for Famil Nurse Practitioner... Whatever all that is, she is the best Doctor, best Nurse, most well trained Care-Giver I have found. \r \r I especially recommend her to ladies and Veterans, we need a caring soul and there is no better out there.We spend many years searching for a Doctor and a caring Staff. I began going down this path after turning the age of 40. Things I toughed out, I just couldn't deal with no more. The trial and errors of finding a doctor and staff that really cared began. I been nose to nose with a doctor and I was right. I was told to pull my sleeves up and asked why was I trembling by another, at that time had no idea why but when the insult made sense I stood my ground never togo back. I have been fired by three and I fired one or two for my own reasons. I have been through a war, as so many others Have experianced. \r \r Now I teach my children that this is to be expected in todays times. It is not like when I was a little girl one Doctor does it all and cares and isn't arrogant. It takes time now to find a caring Staff like ""Neighborhood Family Practice"" has. And when you do get blessed with that one Doctor that you connect with hang on to that Professional with all you have because they are so rare today. \r \r The whole health practice procedure has changed. It rocked my world to realize this and I still have problems understanding referralls and Speciallists and why do we even have to go to them. Doctor Bergstrom guides me through everything gently. She continues her studies allowing her to stay on top of the health changes, which is rare. She got to know me, no prejudice, and we connected. I trust her with my life. That is how it should be isn't it?
