Neat Place 3/4/2011

Nearly New is where my daughter got her prom dress. The owner is funny, and talks up a storm if you want to talk about clothes. He knows a lot. Seriously, a neat neat place. more

It's easier for me to get my favorite clothes 3/4/2011

My favorite place to get clothes. I could actually just dress there and go to work for almost the price of dry cleaning. Whenever I need something for a meeting, it's easier for me to run by there than run home. more

A LOT of Stuff! I love the selection 3/1/2011

On the West Coast there are lots of clothing exchanges, and you've got to go in ever day to get what you want, because they're massively picked over. This place has a LOT of stuff, even when it's crowded on weekends. I love the selection. more

No Dust - Thank Gosh! 3/1/2011

The best part about this store is that my allergies don't act up. If you were ever in a consignment store where dust dominated the place, you know what I mean. I'm sneeze-free coming out of NN. The owner is from New York, so it's funny to listen to him talk with an accent, and his Dad works upstairs and is truly nice - he'll help you find the exact size of whatever you want. But clean is why I go back - well that, and they have a literally huge freaking place. more

I get complimented all the time 3/1/2011

on the stuff I wear from there. OK, on the one hand I wish I could have the price at the bottom of the tag every time, but I get the reason for pricing by date of inventory. So I just keep checking back if there's something I really want. Honestly, tho, I usually just go with the current price, because I can't get it anywhere else for that. The selection is really good. It's the biggest consignment shop I've seen in OKC or even Tulsa, and I like that I don't have to hunt through random, dirty, thrift store garbage. The stuff is usually clean and even pressed. more

Overall, I like the store. Some of the Coach and Vuitton stuff seems pricey, but at least it's way less than what it is new. I like that there's a full floor of menswear. Frankly, I'm ruined for that Mens Wearhouse crap, when I can get Armani at this joint for heckova lot less. more

What a Wonderful Experience we had! 6/10/2010

When you go to Walmart, you always know you're going to go away having spent much more than you thought you would. Today, I got some great things at Nearly New on Western Ave and came away having spent much LESS than I expected. That's rare! They have great items, lots of selection, and a very kind owner/manager that is charming and helpful. My friend and I had a terrific time and got some really good deals. We'll be back!! Pros: a treasure hunt with excellent customer service Cons: not really any more

WORST Consignment Place EVER!!! 4/22/2010

I have had the worst experience with Nearly New! I never received an inventory list. They did not sell my items for what they told me they would. I did not receive my check for almost two months!!! When I called, John the owner said ""oh well"" and did nothing to resolve any of my issues! Do not use this place - they will rip you off!!! Pros: Nothing Good About This Place Cons: This Owner Will Rip You Off more

Love, Love, Love this store!!!!! 3/27/2010

My sister and I visit this store and every time we go in we find wonderful things. The owner is fabulous and makes us feel so welcome. I bought a coat with a fur collar, it was in wonderful condition but I had it cleaned just because it had been gently worn. It came back looking like a brand new coat. IT IS FABULOUS!!!!!!!!! I would recommend this store to everyone. You should visit just to see for yourself. Pros: great designer clothing for really wonderful prices more

We haven't been voted the best by being non-responsive to our customers. I am unaware of any check or inventory requests that have gone unanswered. I've even tried looking up Suzie, Sue and Susan in Kansas on our data base and have found nothing. If this is the Nearly New you have dealt with I am sorry you had an unsatisfactory experience. Not the Same 3/15/2010

Over the years I have used this store to resale clothes and had good experiences. The owners provided a detailed inventory and sent monthly checks as the clothes were sold. They were customer friendly and made selling my clothes easy and I trusted them. The new manager is just the opposite. I placed clothes with him over two months ago and have not heard a word from him and never received an inventory list. I would not recommend using this business since it has changed hands and plan on filing a grievance with the Better Business Bureau. Pros: This use to be a well run store. Cons: New management is terrible. more
