DR. TOMA TOLD US THAT WE WOULDNT GET PREGNANT WITH OUT THERE HELP SO WE TRUST THEM & WE DID OUR FIRST IVF & TRANSFER 3 EMBRYO HE TOLD US WE HAD 60 TO 70 PERCENT CHANCE HE PUT THEM IN DAY 3 & TWO DAYS LATER THEY DIE AT THE TIME OF TRANSFER WE ASK HIM WAS THEY GOOD EMBRYO & HE SAID YES THEY WAS CELL 8 EMBRYOS & WHEN I WANT IN FOR MY HCG TEST THEY CALL AND SAID IT DONT WORK SO WE WENT IN TO TALK TO TOMA & ALL HE SAID THE EMBRYOS WAS BAD BUT HE KNEW THAT BEFORE IT TRANSFER THEM BACK & LET'S GET STARTED ON CYCLE TWO & IT WILL BE ANOTHER $7500. SO PLZ DO ALOT OF RESEARCH BEFORE U GO THERE PLZ THINK ABOUT WHAT I WROTE BECAUSE I DON'T WHAT THIS TO HAPPENED TO SOMEBODY ELSE. more

It appears all the complaints are similar in speaking of Dr Tuma. Yes Dr Tuma is very straightforward with his patients. However you don't want to waste your time with a pat on the back and lying doctor. Dr Tuma is very good at what he does and I believe in him. His IVF and IUI nurses are extremely friendly,helpful and passionate about your experience. And Brenda at the front desk is always a pleasure to deal with. The office is extremely busy and that tells me that he is good at what he does. NCCRM past patients are so busy caring for their new babies that they don't have time to BLOG or write reviews. We are believers and know that Dr Tuma isn't GOD so we pray for his knowledge and precise skills to help us achieve our parental goals. Baby dust wishes to all! more

wasted $20K and 3 yrs, was told I would never get pregnant w/o their help. Told had a complete blockage in both tubes...Stopped using their service and miracles - I got pregnant on my own. Both head guys' bedside manner horrific. They are in it for the $$$$ (front and back end of fertility and obgyn services) and notariety... do not care a lick about you as a person and your dreams. They dump all they can on the midwives/PAs, nursing staff inexperienced. more

why waste your time here, much better place across town. Better in too many ways to name. Dont get caught up in NCCRM fancy marketing. more

I was a known donor for Nccrm. It was not made clear to me nor my recepient that known donors are not paid.If we had known this,we could have made other arrangements.It wasn't that the money wasn't there,we just didn't know. Also,the receptionists at the Greensboro office were very rude and unprofessional! The price of medications for me as a donor was also wrong.My receipient was told $1200 and it ended up being almost $2500. I am sure we are not the only people this has happened to. This caused much unnecessary stress. The money could have easily been pulled from 401K had we only known the price could have been variable. However, the process did result in a pregnancy-which is the goal overall. Dr.Toma is a great doctor but his staff as far as financial department needs much improvement. The nurse that oversees the medications is very professional and understanding. Doris was the only one on the staff in the main office in Cary that was great. She was sensitive to both the donor and the recipient. The nurse at the Greensboro office, Jenna, was good as well-but only if you can get past the unprofessional ladies upfront! If you don't mind being in the dark about what procedures cost and enjoy rude people but a VERY good doctor,this is the place for you! more

I had a serious problem that required an emergency visit. The doctor didn't even see me, they sent in a midwife instead. (I'm not pregnant) She completely misdiagnosed me and now I have to see yet another doctor. (Although not there! I will never go back there again! more

Extremely unprofessional and terrible customer service. Wait is over 2 hours to see doctor and staff is unexperienced. Recommendations and treatments are also not accurate. Stay away! more
