Nazareth Living Ctr

I recommend Nazareth Living Center! They took better care of my wife than the first nursing home she was was in. I didn't like what I saw at that facility, so I brought her to Nazareth. The people at Nazareth couldn't have been better! The people there, from the nurses to the cleaning lady, treated their time at the facility as a profession, not just a job. They talk to the people in the facility and help them. The cleaning lady will say, "Let me help you a minute" or "Let me get you some help." They care about their patients there, and they fall in love with them. It's not just a job, and that impressed me more than anything. I went there to have every meal with my wife for five months, so I got to know the people and type of people they were. I wouldn't take anyone anywhere else. more

My mother was at Nazareth recently recovering from hip replacement surgery. We were very pleased with all of the staff..very kind and very professional. The reason for not all perfect scores was the fact that this is the third time that she has visited the facility for rehab, and each time she has had to wait for at least 8 hours to get any pain medicine. If the communication between the doctors office and Nazareth was better, this would not occur. Other than that, we were extremely pleased. more

My parents stayed at another community, but when my mom passed away and my dad needed more care, they didn't have room at that place. That turned out to be a blessing as we came to Nazareth and had the most amazing experience. All of the staff from the nurses to the housekeepers and culinary team welcomed my dad and treated him so incredibly kindly. He loved how people spent time just listening to his stories and enjoyed the relationships he made here. The medical care was thorough, compassionate, and professional. Instead of talking only to myself and my siblings, they always took the time to talk to him so that he knew what was going on. At the other community, he had felt like staff ignored him and talked over him to myself and the siblings. When he needed hospice care, they provided it right on site. The community at Nazareth couldn't have been kinder to him and our family. They surrounded all of us with kindness and truly cared. They even offered us an apartment on site so that we could go and get some rest without leaving his side for too long. The sisters and other staff came and prayed with us and were so amazing. I would highly recommend Nazareth as a home for anyone looking for a place for a loved one. more

My mother and father were both patients at Nazareth Living Center. The experience was positive until the time of their death. My mother was there for two months, and my father for almost ten. The atmosphere was very warm, attentive, and supportive of both the patients and the family. more

It came time to put my mother into a nursing home facility. She had been in two others for short stays while she was recuperating from surgery. When the time came for a permanent facility, my sister discovered Nazareth Living Center. We took a look, Mom went there, and she was very happy. I was a printing sales woman, so I went into a lot of nursing homes over the years. None of them compare to Nazareth. They are top notch. Everyone who works there is cordial and nice, and they always speak to you and smile. I have them on a pedestal. more

My mother was at Nazareth Living Center for six-and-a-half years and I have absolutely no complaints about them. They were very good. I felt the security was good. My mother had some mental issues and they made sure she saw the proper doctor and got her medicine all worked out. When she was on the right medication, she was like a new person. They went the extra mile for her, were very caring and empathetic. While my mother was declining at the end, they were helpful with the family through the funeral. Any time I called the nurses or staff, they promptly returned my calls. I had a feeling of total security and that they understood the situation and would take care of my mother. The care is excellent and the concerned they show for their patients and their family can't be beat. more
