I would like to share one of the best experience as an ordinary customer ever had in this amazing place called Natura Spa. A week ago I was passing by this salon which is on Steinway between 31Ave and Broadway, Astoria when I decided to get in to check about laser services they had. The receptionists were super friendly, amazing, with cute Brazilian accent, wonderful smiles, they were able to answer my primary questions. Then, they make an appointment for a free consultation which was today. When I got there, again those wonderful people at the salon, the coffee was tasty. The receptionist gave me a questionnaire to start answering it and so Claudia came to take me to the Laser room. It is beautiful, everything very clean, neat, new. I did feel very comfortable. Because of the form I had in my hands I started having more questions and Claudia was very patient and answered me all of them with a lot of confidence which made me more relaxed. After all, I decided to have the first treatment right away and she was amazing, it seemed she has a lot of experience because she did know what she was doing, she was detailed, thorough, attentive. I loved it. I already got my full package for an affordable price. more

Telmo is the BEST! 9/27/2010

I just had my hair cut at this place. I had been there many times in the past but this was the first time I had a haircut with this pleasant and very friendly hairdresses named TELMO. He was good from the beginning to the end. He took the time to look at my hair prior to washing and listened to my concerns. He then gave me his idea (which was honest and straight forward which is the way to go!) and then gave me the best hair wash ever! He will really make you feel relaxed and take his time washing your hair (not rushing like so many). I love my new haircut and he even showed me how to style it at home. He is a sweetheart. He really takes the time on you and doesn't waste time on other people around the salon while working on you (like others). I would say, if you are going to Natura Spa then ask for Telmo. The Best Asian Massage Ever 9/6/2010

I had a terrible backache, been to many masseurs for over a year, some of them got rid of my pain for a week or so, nothing more than that. When finally I ran into Lion at Natura Spa, it was simply awesome, he definitely has a great knowledge about the human body because he put all my spinal cord in order. Also, my patner has relaxing massages with him and she surely feels much better later. more

The best waxing ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! URSULA IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!! I've tried waxing many other places, none of them can be compared to this place. Ursula is very professional,detail-oriented nice woman, I highly recommend her. The prices are a bit expensive, but the result you get is worth every penny. more

Telmo is a very talented stylist who made me feel like he truly cared about me as a person. I was more than just another client being shuffled in and out. Not only was my color and style beautiful, but he went above and beyond giving me a great neck and scalp massage. I would recommend him to anyone. He will make you feel relaxed and you'll leave looking beautiful. =) more

Best Brazilian Keratin Treatment 2/8/2010

Just came back from Natura where I got the Brazilian Keratin Treatment with Telmo. He was very professional and diligent all throughout the more than two hours he spent with me. I LOVED the result. He's also extra friendly and just made time fly by. He even gave me extra tips about products to use at home. As for the Spa, I thought everyone, including the owner, was very friendly. And yes, this place is pristine clean, which I always appreciate. Definitely recommend it and will go back to try other services soon!!! Pros: great service, friendly environment more

Great place for a wax 2/3/2010

I get my whole body waxed at this location with one women only, Irina. Absolutely love her, one of the best I ever went to. Has an adorable accent, funny and makes sure that her clients are comfortable and happy. If you need any wax make sure you visit her, you wont be disappointed. I'm a crazy blonde who has short hair. I think no need to explain how easy to ''mess up'' with a short hairstyle, specially if you have a ''cool picture'' in your mind and what you'd like to see in the mirror after a haircut:-P Well, I have to tell you ladies, I've got exactly what I asked for, from Telmo:-)) He's the best hairstylist I've ever had! Not mention his fabulous head massage which almost made me fall asleep:-) ... Worth the ride to Astoria 11/3/2009

You can get the sharpest haircuts from Telmo, and affordable also (!), if you take the subway for a short ride to Astoria. His head massage and relaxed Brazilian vibes help to unwind, and most importantly his cuts are out of this world. Two of my friends also went and are hooked now as well. I think Telmo is one of the best secrets of NYC. more

Terrible service !!! 10/14/2009

First time when I made appointmant for haircut at this place,when I came hairstylist left for some fashion show without even calling me to let me know. So I made another appointmant with other guy that could not even cut my hair straight. All I wanted is straight hair cut ,he chopped my hair so horribly that made me cry. I decided to go back and tell him that I m not happy ,they scheduled me for next day. When I came he was bussy, and acted like he doesn't know what I talking about and walk away from me. more
