APP Member! (Association of Professional Piercers) I called first to check the hours and to ask about possible metal allergies, and was given more than enough useful information whether or whether not I was even going to go there to get my first piercing. I was nervous, and explained that if I were to even see the needle before hand I would probably bolt out of there, and my concerns were not only handled but understood. The piercer changed his gloves I don't know how many times throughout, but definately enough that I took notice of it. I was given complete aftercare advice, even when I woke up the next morning and called them because I had somehow slept on the piercing funny, irritating it and causing my lip to swell like crazy. In the end, everything was great and I walked out with an amazing first experience that got me later wanting more piercings.
Pros: everything.
Cons: too far from where I now live (Seattle, WA) to get my piercings done there.
