Great office! Friendly staff! I was refferred by my primary care doc and saw the Daryl the Physicians Assistant. He is SUPER friendly and easy to talk to. I've gone back for other derm issues and saw him again. I hope to continue going here. more

I saw Dr. Nami again this month for acne treatment. Dr. Nami has been positive and motivating each trip to keep me from giving up too soon on treatment. Thanks to Dr. Nami, my acne is finally under control and is starting to clear up. more

The office staff was great. 3/20/2012

The office staff was great. We were a few minutes late to the appointment, but they were very understanding and never made us feel bad about it. It was necessary for us to come back for a biopsy. Dr and nursing staff were very patient and helped calm me. I didn't even flinch; they talked to me the whole time. more

I'm glad I found Island Dermatology 3/8/2012

I'm pale, really pale, as in sit-in-the-sun-10-minutes-and-get-burned pale. When I moved to SoCal I wanted to ""acclimate"", so I went to tanning beds to achieve that sun-kissed glow (because all people in SoCal are tan, right?). Bad idea, and I'm paying for it now. Dr. Ettefaugh and Dr. Nami are great doctors, an awesome husband-and-wife team. Very patient and informative, they make having things scraped and burned off one's body almost pleasant. I was a bit hesitant going to dermies in Newport, afraid of having cosmetic procedures pushed on me. That was by far not the case. Parking is a breeze, and free (no validation required, unlike other Newport doctors' offices). I'm glad I found Island Dermatology. : - ) more
