Doctor with the right focus 12/20/2010

I have been going to Dr. Nadolne for about 3 years. He has more than provided cures to my aliments. Although, I have had to wait a few minutes more than I would like, he more than makes up with his knowledge. It is refreshing to find a doctor that understand the value of proper diet and nutrition. His approach to diet and exercise is key for good health. I have been following similar diets that emphasis correct mix of proteins, carbohydrate, and fats for over a year now and I am in the best shape of my life! more

Rewards for Health - Biometric Health Actions 4/14/2010

I came to be in Dr. Nadolne's care years ago via referal from a family member. Most recently I was looking for a way to get my biometrics (BMI, LDL, etc.) in line to take advantage of my Health Insurance Company's (UNH) premium credit(s). By participating in Take Shape for Life (Medifast) , I was able to drop those extra pounds I seemed to magically pick up every year, while improving my overall health. Thanks Dr. Nadolne, you have helped me improve my quality of life and get paid for it at the same time. Keep up the good work, and help us all continue the fight against this generations greatest health threat. Pros: Nice new office, and advise that works! more

IN IT FOR THE MONEY 1/12/2010

This doctor is not a doctor at all, he is a sales person. He could care less about being a real doctor and actually discussing your issues. He spends most of the visit talking about additional services he has in his office. He has no time for real issues and if you tell him no about a service he is pushing he has no time for you anymore. He makes time available for those who are purchasing all his extra services and making him the most money. For people who just want a good medical doctor he has nothing. His staff seem put out by him as well. His nurses have to constantly make excuses for him and he seems to have little regard for them either. His front office is usually busy and pleasant. His other physician Dr. Philip seems to really practice medicine the way it is supposed to be. She does offer the additional services if the patient wants more information or if she feels its really benificial, however she does not push it on you like he does. I suspect she doesn't make the money off of those things like he does, as again I think he has only one thing on his mind and that is MONEY not Medicine. Unless you want to purchase medicine from his in house pharmacy, even if you have had success on other medications he will switch you to one at his office, telling you you will save money however you cannot submit it to insurance. HOW can you save money on antibiotics in his office when they are 20.00 and they are free at publix or walmart? PLEASE everyone take my advice, he is a money hungry sales person with a white coat, that is all. Pros: his staff is the best part of his practice Cons: Salesperson with a White Coat and Degree more

Long time patient, but never again... 7/16/2009

I've been a patient for along time. Although he's a nice guy I feel his office put my health on the line with many misdiagnosis for the same problem. I had a serious problem that was ignored. It took a visit to someone else to diagnosis me and treat my health with emergency care it needed. I'm also tired of being sold on products every time I come in. Even when I have a fever, he tries to sell me on other things. Not to mention the LONG WAITS. Sometimes you get in and out, but other times you are left waiting 2 hours! It saddens me to write this, but I am trying to save some else the pain I went through. He is a nice guy that means well, but something is wrong somewhere. I will not be coming back! Pros: Common cold, nice guy Cons: LONG wait, incompetent staff, upseller more

A Doctor who communicates 7/6/2009

Dr. Nadolne is interested in your health and well being beyond the reason for your visit. He is helpful in improving health and fitness so that there is less health problems and less use of medication. By participating in a weight loss program, Take Shape for Life, I was able to dramatically reduce my BP and cholesterol medications while maintaining and improving my overall health. Thanks Doc, you have helped me improve my quality of life!! Pros: Concerned, Great Communicator more

Superb personal attention 6/20/2009

Dr. B. Nadolne has been my doctor for eight years. In the beginning there was a thorough checkup and adjustments to my medications. Over the years he has been readily available for appointments, and once I had to request that he fit me into his schedule, and he did. He is a good, personable, diagnostician who is full of good humor even at the end of long days. He listens, he then patiently explains the problem and the treatment. He is also persistent, and was able to finally convince me to work to lose weight. The program he recommended did work for me--to my amazement--and I am very happy and grateful for his concern and his final ""push."" His staff is polite, attentive, and also good natured. Well managed, his team keeps waiting times at acceptable levels. They return telephone calls and call with lab results. Dr. Nadolne is a good diagnostician, and a personable man who cares about his patients. I recommend him highly and thank him for being himself and my doctor. Pros: A Doctor interested in his patients Cons: There is only one of him more

Great Doctor! 4/30/2009

Interested in supporting me since my very first visit. He went straight to the point. Talked to me in detail about everything, checked BP which I already knew was high, and explained the importance of what I needed to do the remedy the situation. Encouraged me to sign up for the Medfast diet, which I did. When I came back for my second visit, I'd adhered to the diet exactly I had lost weight and my BP was down quite a bit. He is very encouraging and it's obvious he cares a great deal for his patients and is very thorough and supportive. He is very easy to talk to, and has a kid disposition. When I asked about other problems he answered all my questions and I never feel rushed. I'm looking forward to my next visit. I'm 70 years of age and have been to many doctors, but this is the first time I've been to a doctor that was truly interested in my well-being. Pros: Very Kind more

Dr. Brian Nadolne 3/9/2009

Dr. Nadolne has been my physician for 3 years. He has been very attentive to my medical needs. It is nice to walk into the office and the staff knows you. It is especially a warm feeling when Dr. Nadolne takes as much time with you as he does and truly cares about your health care. He takes such an interest and listens to my questions and answers them thoroughly. He also follows up in a very timely manner. I also have seen Dr. Philip who is just as thorough as Dr. Nadolne is. I feel very fortunate to have found a practice that takes such interest in their patients. That is what medical care should be. I would recommend this practice to anyone. more

The doctor everyone wants! 3/3/2009

I have been with Dr. Nadolne for many years and I cannot say enough great things about him. I work in the medical field and therefore , I know him on a professional level as well as one of his patients. He is highly involved in the medical community. Dr. Nadolne speaks at different medical associations as an expert in his field and is well respected by his peers. Pros: Easy access (no stairs), T.V. in the waiting room with movies on all the time, great hours. Cons: Sometimes there could be a small waiting period on return calls or in the waiting room depending on the time of day. more

Truly Great Doctor 3/2/2009

I have been going to Dr. Nadolne now for 2 years since I have moved from the Northeast. I must say he is a Doctor that truly cares in the health and well being of his patients. He takes a true interest in my lifestyle and monitors me and guides in the right direction. He is very thorough and explains himself in detail with everything he does. I truly believe I will be with him for a long time or as long as I live in the Atlanta area. My biggest obstacle was my diet and Dr. Nadolne has shown me ways to monitor the way I look at food and how I consume my day to day meals. Because of him I have lost weight and have been feeling great. He tryly cares in his patients. Pros: Great Docvtor and Staff. Cons: Waiting Time more

A Big Picture View of Family Care...Switch If You Can 2/26/2009

Dr. Nadolne sees three generations of my family, from my 81 year-old father to my 7 year-old daughter. Unlike some doctors I have had in the past, Dr. Nadolne takes the time to get to know his patients individually. You never feel like you are on an assembly line with the last stop being a prescription. Dr. Nadolne has taught our family that there are health improvements that we can affect directly through lifestyle changes and a commitment to staying healthy. Knowledge is power as he often says. Dr. Nadolne listens and his friendly personality seems very natural. When he learned my father spoke Spanish, he started talking to my father in Spanish. It's a little thing but was appreciated greatly by my father. I recently had to lose some weight. I joined Dr. Nadolne's Take Shape for Life program and not only lost the weight I needed but gained the knowledge to manage my diet and keep the weight off. It's been 6 months and I haven't gained a pound. I see that as another example of why my family loves Dr. Nadolne - we learn that good health is not about gimmicks or quick fixes; it's about self-knowledge that empowers a healthy lifestyle. If you're shopping for new family physician, give Dr. Nadolne a visit. Pros: Friendly, Knowledgeable more

BEST DOCTOR 2/20/2009

Dr. Brian Nadolne is a breath of fresh air when it comes to doctors. I have been a patient of his since he first opened his practice. He is a very caring doctor who talks to you instead of doctors talking down to you. Besides explaining meds, procedures etc. he also encourages questions from his patients so they can be well informed. His continued education on new or updated topics is evident. I consider him not only a doctor but a friend something I don't take lightly. Pros: Comfortable environment, great staff, wonderful doctor more

How Fortunate We Are to Have Dr. Nadolne!!! 2/19/2009

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Nadolne?s practice since he opened in March of 2001. We are extremely happy that he opened his practice so close. Numerous neighbors of ours switched to Dr. Nadolne and feel the same way. Dr. Nadolne and everyone on his staff are the most caring medical professionals we have ever encountered. I was raised in the Navy, moving every two years and seeing hundreds of physicians over 30 years, so I feel extremely qualified in stressing his professionalism and medical acumen. In addition, my parents (84 and 80 years old) moved back to Atlanta 1-? years ago, and they absolutely love Dr. Nadolne. No matter what the problem, Dr. Nadolne and his staff are always there for us. His ?bedside manner? is such that he is able to explain and solve the problem to every age group?the very young and the elderly?and that is high praise indeed! His utmost concern is for his patients! Dr. Nadolne ALWAYS takes the time needed to listen to his patients and use his medical expertise and great people skills to give them the care and attention they require. And, if there are times we have to wait (which does not happen often), I am happy to do so, because I know he is taking the time that is needed for one of his patients! Dr. Nadolne added web communications for his patients that has truly enhanced his practice in so many ways. I am now able to communicate with him on his web site any questions/problems I am experiencing, especially with my elderly parents, and his responses are always very quick. The cost for this is extremely reasonable and well worth it, and as a former software manager, very inexpensive?especially for the peace of mind if gives me regarding my parents. Dr. Nadolne first concern is for his patients, and he is always current on new procedures, innovations, and studies in the medical field. We all feel extremely fortunate that Dr. Nadolne is in our lives?what a great doctor to have for our family! Pros: Medical Expertise and Professionalism, Quality of Care, Location Cons: We have no cons whatsoever more

Finally, my search is over..............! 2/17/2009

Finally, my search for a great doctor is over! I have lived in Atlanta for almost 5 years and have tried various doctors and not been happy. After not feeling well and going to my previous doctor, she wrote me 3 prescriptions and said ""one of them would fix"" me. That was the last straw! Pros: Nice office. Looks beyond current condition. Great bedside manner. more

Dr. Brian Nadolne: THE Family Doctor 2/15/2009

As a patient of Dr. Nadolne's since 2001, I can say, without exception, that he is the most diligent, caring family physician I've ever been to. Aside from having a great personality and ""bedside manner,"" his professional knowledge and abilities, coupled with a strong drive and sincere empathy, continuously push him to keep searching until he has found the very root of a patient's medical issues and concerns. Whether in the area of specific maladies, weight control or overall preventative medicine, his diagnoses and subsequent treatment methods have never failed me. He is also a wonderful family doctor with regard to children; my 9-year-old always feels safe a special when she visits Dr. Nadolne. I can't recommend him, his staff or his practice enough. Pros: Physician's care, manner and expertise more

Caring Doctor with Amazing Bedside Manner in East Cobb 2/12/2009

I have been a patient of Dr. Nadolne since 1999 and can't see going to any other doctor. Do I sometimes struggle with how long it takes in his office, of course, but I know if I have to wait it's because he's giving other patients the attention I know he shows me once I'm in the office. He can upsell at times, but when it comes down to it he's a wonderful doctor who really cares about me when I go into his office. Now a days finding a compitent doctor who has great bed side manner is almost impossible, I just have to call Dr. Nadolne to get that kind of treatment. more

Caring, Competent Family Doctor in East Cobb 2/8/2009

Wow. What can I say about Dr. Nadolne and his staff. My husband started going to him about 3 years ago and the doctor has helped him so much with his health issues. I was so impressed with the way Dr. Nadolne was helping my husband that I started going to him. For the first time ever, a doctor knew how to help me with my weight issues. He put me on a clinically proven program called Take Shape for Life and the fat just ""melts"" away. This is the first doctor who has been able to help me get control of my weight. As a side benefit of losing the weight, my osteoarthritis has disappeared!! My adult daughter has started going to him and she feels completely comfortable with him, as do I. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone who wants a caring, compassionate, competent doctor. He will be our doctor for life. more

What Dr. Nadolne has done for my family 2/5/2009

My husband, and myself have been going to doctor Nadolne for 6 years at least. Dr Nadolne is such a great doctor that we travel 70 plus miles to his office. I had gained alot of weight and he was really concerned with my health that he recommended me going on a weight loss program called Take Shape For Life. Within 6 months I have lost 40 pounds, I have got more energy and most of all it has helped me with my acid reflux. I am no longer taking medicine for my reflux and I have been able to come off my sleep med. Dr Nadolne has always been thoughtful about where you can get your meds cheaper. He offers some meds in his office, but we tell him we can get it cheaper with our insurance he is ok with that. Also if he has samples of a med that we are taking and we run out he will gladly give enough to get you through. My husband and I think he is a wonderful doctor My mother and stepdad go to him as well and they really like him . My mother is on the tsfl weightloss as well and she is a cancer survivor, she has been able to come off meds as well. Pros: He calls his patients back himself, he has an email link for refills and any other concern more

A caring family doctor! 1/29/2009

We have been using Dr Nadolne for almost 7 years. He has taken me through 2 pregnancies and my husband through open heart surgery. His care and patience is outstanding. I have never used a family doctor before so the pratice was a little new to me. When we come in for a common cold or the flu he takes the time to review any other issues we are having from mental challenges to physical concerns. Although I have not taken advantage of the skin treatments he offers (other that buying the Skin Medica which I love) I appreciate the fact that I know I can call someone I trust and he will advise on the best options for me and my family. I would highly recommend Dr Nadolne if you are looking for someone who will take the care needed to address ALL of your concerns, not just a doc in the box who will only deal with one ailment at a time. Pros: Caring bedside manor, never rushes through examinations more
