Jack Nacmias and his employee Sammy worked on my 2002 Buick Park Avenue Ultra twice in the past year (2013). Jack supervised while Sammy did the heavy lifting. Both of them are extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and conscientious. Jack has other employees who I assume are as good as Sammy and I don't mention them only because Sammy is the one who worked on my car. In April of 2013 Sammy put in new struts and front tires and in December of 2013 he cleaned the cooling system and tuned the transmission. The work he did was perfect and the cost was entirely reasonable. On both occasions, while Sammy worked and Jack supervised, Jack entertained me with his funny stories and jokes ... at no extra charge! more

Nacmias and Sons take the time to help with specific problems, and they have a strong willingness to find solutions. I found out about them via word of mouth, and I've been using them for 18 months, maybe 2 years, now. more

Let me start off with that I hate mechanics. Every time I bring my car to a mechanics I dread it. I drive an older car with mileage thats getting up there and I feel like when mechanics see it they automatically see money signs. Whenever I went to a repair shop I would get a $500 bill. I finally had enough. It was inspection time and my check engine light was on. I asked some friends if they knew any reliable mechanics and they told me to go see Jack at his Sunoco on Coney Island and V. I arrived and was greeted by a young man who I found out later to be Jacks son who was extremely nice and polite. He scanned my vehicle and told me he was going to get his father who know more about it. Thats when I met Jack who was an absolute angel. Jacks nephew Sholom said I had a sensor that wouldn't allow my car to pass inspection and that it wouldn't be to expensive and that he could get my car on the road and inspected by the end of the day. They're just the best. I've been doing business with Nacmias and Sons Auto Repair for many years now. I've had them fixing my ten year old Saturn, which is in great shape. Four years ago, my son had an accident in which everybody was thankfully okay. I had Nacmias and Sons rebuild the car's front end with parts they ordered directly from Saturn. Simon, who did the work, is like an extension of jack. It's beautiful over there. They've saved me so many times. Recently I brought my car in for some little stuff, and they had it done in an hour. Nacmias and Sons Auto Repair worked pretty good. They took care of my car. They're generous, kind, and they don't give you the runaround. I went to them for about 10 years, and did oil changes, tune-ups, change-ups, and other repairs. more

So, I took my 89 Camry or the Sharon-Mobile in to my Nacmias to have my brakes checked yesterday. I was told my brakes were fine and was sent on my merry way. As I was driving off, G waved me back in. He said something still wasn't right regarding the brake lights and headlights. It turned out to be quite a complicated problem with the wiring, etc. G worked for many hours and very diligently until it was fixed. I was charged an extremely reasonable fee. I commend Jack, G and his entire staff for their conscientiousness and dedication. You guys are the absolute best bar none! more

I have a large fleet of trucks, and I used to jump from mechanic to mechanic whenever I needed work done. It always took too long, and when I don't have my trucks on the road, I'm not making money. I found Nacmias and Sons Auto Repair, and have been taking my commercial trucks there for about 2 years now. They are great! They get the work I need done, done immediately. Sometimes, they even take my trucks in early, before they open just so they can get the work finished and have my trucks back on the road quickly. I think that's very good service, I like that. If it's an easy fix, I never have to leave my truck there all day, or for days at a time, so the turnaround time is very, very good. more

I've been going to Nacmias and Sons Auto Repair for years, and I have all my cars serviced there because they are excellent. Whenever something goes wrong, I can always bring it in, and sometimes they won't even charge me. They also don't keep pushing for work to be done. They are very good, and I have never had a problem. They are even open on Sunday, which makes it convenient for me. more

These are guys are 5 stars all the way. I have been going to Nacmias and Sons for over 30 years because of the great service. They have done just about everything you can think of on a car for me and I have been very satisfied with all of their work. You don't have to worry about anything with them. Just bring your car in and let them take care of it. more

Nacmias and Sons Auto Repair was very, very good. Jack services my car, he changes the oil every 3000 miles, rotates the tires periodically, and does other standard upkeep for my vehicle. I would recommend him. more

Nacmias and Sons Auto Repair is a good shop, with good prices. They are honest with their prices, and they keep you updated on what they find. Overall, I'm pleased, and I think they make an effort to please their customers. In these days especially, being a woman, I can feel confident that I won't get ripped off, and I have already at other shops where they take advantage of women for not having knowledge about cars. I would recommend them to women who would be leery about going into a new garage. I think they're honest people who do a good job and go out of their way to please you. more

I've basically been using Nacmias and Sons Auto Repair for years. They're super people, they really are. I was looking for a car and I purchased one from their original shop. Ever since then, they've been keeping this same car going. The work that they do always seems to work out nicely. Their original shop as Nacmias and Brothers had been in my area for years. I have trust in them because they have been here for many years. Nacmias and Sons has done everything from basic oil changes, brake changes, and occasional repairs. I bought the car originally from Nacmias and Sons a year and a half ago, and I just recently had it serviced there. They said it was one thing, but it turned out to be completely misdiagnosed. I actually didn't have the car back the time they said because of it, maybe a day or two later, but they were very reasonable with the price because it was misdiagnosed. Jack is a good guy. I've bought two cars from him, and have been using him for service for what must be 10 or 15 years. I go to him for everything. He's an honest guy to work with, and I'm happy with our relationship. His mechanics are good, too. They are low key and easy to talk to. If there's ever an issue, you can go back and they'll take care of it. more

I am completely pleased with Nacmias and Sons Auto Repair, and recommend them to absolutely everyone. Any time someone tells me how their mechanic is a crook, I say hey, go to Jack! I started using Jack about eight years ago, and will keep going back as long as he's there. About six years ago, my car died on me. I told Jack what I was looking for, and he sold me a vehicle that fits my needs. He keeps it running perfectly, and now at 123,000 miles I have no issues. Jack has always been incredibly accommodating. One thing that really works for me is that he's open on Sundays. I work in New Jersey through the week, and then from home on Saturdays, so Sunday is the only time I can have work done. The guys at Nacmias will do the repairs immediately, so I can get on with the rest of my day. Also, the service station is open 24 hours, so I can pick the car up at my convenience, in case the repairs take a little longer. This is like a goldmine to me! To give of example of Jack's outstanding service, one Sunday night I managed to leave the overhead light on when I was eating diner with my brother. It drained the battery, and we couldn't get the jumper cables to work. I called Jack at 9 p.m., and he came out right away and got the car started. Now, that's dedication. I have no complaints about Jack Nacmias or his shop, whatsoever. He is honest, and reasonably priced. There's no extra charge for doing work on Sundays, either. It's just part of the service. He is phenomenal--everyone in our community has his sticker on the back of their cars. I wouldn't think for a second about using any other mechanic. more

Nacmias and Sons always do a good job on my car. I'm always taken care of right away, and I've never had a problem with the same part twice. I have a good rapport with the mechanics, and Jack himself is always trying to help me out. They're really good, and I'm very satisfied. My brother takes his car to Nacmias now, and my friends take their cars there too. I always recommend them! I've never had any problems with them. I have an old, beat up car, and it's always fixed when they say it's going to be fixed. They also always explain options on how to save money, suggesting what I should put my money into and what I shouldn't, and not keeping the mechanics' best interest but always trying to sell the cheapest parts to fit my budget. more
