My 1928 house had faux grain painted throughout its doors, fireplace, window and door trim, and built-in dining room buffet. I didn't know this until a neighborhood mentioned that the Arts and Crafts bungalows had this feature. Stripping the finish would have destroyed the faux grain. NHance's process was able to keep the faux grain while giving the woodwork a beautiful new gloss. They were very accommodating with my schedule. We have fairly tricky kitchen cabinets, in that they were stained, twenty years ago in a very light blonde stain. They are maple or beech and the wood, itself is very high quality. However, with the light color and lots of cooking they were stained and, frankly ugly. After our day with NHance they look like new. more

The consultant who arrived the day before they started work explained the process well, and gave us a realistic description of what to expect. The lead worker arrived right on time and did an excellent job in restoring our cabinets. He consulted with us frequently for our input on whether it was looking satisfactory. He explained in advance which imperfections could probably not be corrected perfectly, and then worked to get those imperfections looking as good as possible. Overall we were quite pleased with the result. more

I selected NHance as I did not want to have to deal with all the dust and cleanup of a re-sanding which I had done about 15 years earlier on the main living room & dining room. When I purchased my home the hardwood floors were already damaged from the previous owner's potted plants. At the time I could not afford to have them refinished. Needless to say, 13 years later the floors under the windows in the dining room had absolutely no varnish left from the previous water damage and 13 years of sun had worn the varnish down to bare wood. The rest of the floors just looked dull. Recently, when I was about to have new living room furniture delivered and realized I would have to mostly empty the room, I thought it might be time to look into having the floors refinished. I had previously heard about NHance Wood Renewal and decided to give them a try. I did not want to have my entire home out of commission for the week or more a full sanding/refinishing job would take so this seemed like a reasonable option. After contacting NHance by email, Marcia was at my home within 2 days to do the initial estimate. There was no pressure to commit to having the job done, and she was very upfront about what to expect with the results and the limitations of the NHance process. I decided to have NHance do the job and Dave came out to do my pre-service inspection. The entire NHance team was very accommodating in scheduling my service in the window between having the old furniture hauled away and the new furniture delivered. Come job day there was a delay when the schedule technician was sick but NHance was very quick to schedule service for the next day, which happened to be a Saturday, to make sure that my floors would be ready for the furniture delivery the following week. Josh arrived promptly on Saturday morning and was able to mostly complete the job in one day although the amount of filler required on my poor tired floors was more than originally estimated so he had to schedule to return to finish the job on the following Monday. After the initial day the floors looked wonderful except for a couple of streaked areas. Josh also fixed those up quickly on his return trip. The results exceeded my expectations. The area under the dining room window which had serious water damage and completely missing varnish now looks so much better and the rest of the floors are equally nice. I know that the results would have been even more spectacular with a full sanding and refinishing, but the significantly shorter time I was out of the front of my home and reduced cost was a total win for me. The final touch was when we dropped a table moving the furniture back into the rooms and scratched the new finish. NHance offered to come back and repair the scratch without charge. My 1982 mobile home cabinets (real wood folks) and my bedroom dresser (oak) that had bad water damage on the top has been restored to new. They were at my house at 7:30 a.m. and finished at 6:30 p.m. I bought new knobs and pulls and it looks like I have a new kitchen. And I can't tell you how happy I am with my bedroom dresser. It looks gorgeous again. Oh yeah, my dog had actually chewed up one cabinet door (to get to our garbage) and I sanded it a little by hand and after their process, you wouldn't even be able to tell now. Our cabinets look so good like they were brand new again. The wood was still good oak, so nhance made them shine..We installed knobs which the cabinets did not have and they look sharp good for another 20 years more

We called N-Hance after deciding that we did not want to live through the dust and chemicals associated with traditional hardwood floor refinishing. They not only cleaned and stained our heavily used family room floor but they also did our kitchen & bathroom cabinets. We were very pleased with their work and 2 years later everything still looks great. We recently updated our kitchen, new counters, sink, appliances, etc., but we did not replace the cabinets because they still look so good. more

I have done three projects with N-Hance in the last 4 years and am thrilled with the results. One project involved 1970's PLYWOOD kitchen cabinets and they did a wonderful job in restoring the color and the finish. I did not believe it could be done. Other projects have been kitchen and hall floors, they restored color to the scratched fir floors and finish with the sheen of your choice. And they do it in a day. Wonderful because you have access to your kitchen at the end of the day. more

I was pleased with everything. The guys were polite and professional and the end result of our floorboards was spectacular The only confusion was about the drying process. We were told by the sales person that we would be able to sleep in our apartment that night but the guys told us that it would have to dry completely. We had to go to a hotel. more

I had 3 bedrooms and a long hallway refinished by NHance, and can't say enough good things about the company. Dave is a patient and good listener. The technicians worked quickly and efficiently. Not quite as perfect as sanding, but so much nicer to have the floors finished in one day, and not have to deal with weeks worth of cleaning up after fine dust all over everything. The small imperfections are mostly covered up by rugs anyway, and overall, the refinish looks stunning. It's been 3 years now,and my floors still look great. The company is professional and gives great customer service. Again, can't say enough good things about them. I'll be getting the gumwood trim refinished next. more

Amazing. We thought our bamboo kitchen floors were irreparable--stained, discolored, and simply ugly. Nhance has transformed themthey are now a glowing uniform color, have a lovely sheen, and while I dont think anyone could make 20+ year old thin bamboo floors look like new, this came pretty close. It was such a pleasure to work with NHancewe had several people come out and each one was professional, ethical, knowledgeable and lovely. Marcia came to assess if their service would work for our floors and give us an estimate. When I had additional questions about the service, Dave came out and went over the whole process with me, and helped me choose a new finish. Finally, the miracle-worker Chad came here with his tools and supplies and worked on our floor until it was pretty much unrecognizable. Nhances quick, non-smelly, process is some sort of super deep cleaning, stain removal re-coloring and a finish that restores the floors. We are so happy with our Nhanced kitchen floor. more

I have lived in the same home for 42 years, and in all that time the kitchen cabinets have had nothing done to them. My kitchen is very homey in feeling, but those cabinets were really dirty. It took the full time to get them clean and refinish them, but they are beautiful and fit in perfectly with the finish of the walls. I Couldn't recommend N'Hance more!! more

The enormous wood paneling backdrop in the sanctuary of our church was over 30 years old. Then N-hance came during the mid-week about 5 years ago...what a transformation after they were done! On Sunday, the whole congregation was pleasantly surprised by the new look. The woods natural grains and color seemed to have reappeared. Also noticeable was a subtle luster on the surface that brought splendor to the whole sanctuary. We were told that a sealer coat was applied and that it would protect the surface for years to come. David, owner of the company, even renewed our pulpit but did not charge us. He said that he was just glad to serve the communities which made up the heart of the city that he so loved. The wooden cabinets in our kitchen were truly looking worn and sad. Bleached out by the sun and stained by years of use, it seemed like it would be a tremendous job to re-finish them. I was also concerned with the job being messy, smelly, time-consuming and dusty. With a small child in the house this was not very appealing. Luckily, Nhance solved all those problems. They were fast, clean, the job was odorless and dustless and the cabinets looked fantastic! Its really given a new life to our kitchen. The Nhance crew were also extremely nice, polite, very professional and they took time to make sure the wood stain was exactly the shade we wanted before they began. The process from start to finish was a great experience. David Lantow provided the initial assessment for flooring work and I felt he was very honest and took his time to explain in detail the process as well as what our finished product would look like. His expertise and professionalism was evident in the presentation of the company and the follow through of the work. He took in consideration the special housing needs of the residents and discussed what types of finishes would work best. His team was also very friendly and professional and they did a great job on the floors. I would highly recommend NHance for wood refinishing needs.
