Farmer's Market Great Seafood and Price 8/4/2006

Me and my husband come here at least once a month. It is pretty quick in serving the customers, friendly service, and great prices. We typically share a regular 3 deal combo with Scallops, Trout, and Flounder with Hush puppies, cole slow, and potato wedges. The only downside is the atmosphere. It is not a romantic dinner location but rather a family friendly location. There is outside and inside seating, They offer friend and broiled dishes (check the side menu). When you are done, check out the fresh fruits and vegetables sold by the local vendors. more

Fantasic Fresh Food 4/17/2006

One of the best parts of living in NC is the proximity to the coast. this restaurant allows you the ability to eatfresh seafood, so fresh that in many cases it was caught just that morning. The farmers markethas tons of fresh fruite and veggies to choose from as well, often fresher and cheaper than you'll find them at the grocery store. more

If you want great, fresh seafood at reasonable prices then N C Seafood is the spot! The portions are great-sized and you can order fries or hashbrowns on the side (I recommend the hashbrowns!). If you're in the area, I suggest you stop by! more

Support Local Farmers 1/12/2006

If you want the guarenteed freshest seafood around then buy it from the people who catch it. this resturant on the state fairgrounds is stocked with all NC seafood, support the state and have a fantastic meal at the same time. This is really a wonderful place to get a great NC meal. more

Best fried seafood around 8/15/2005

The NC Seafood Market serves fried fish and seafood along with fries, hush puppies and slaw. You order at the counter, fix your own drink then grab a table (inside or outside) while waiting for your number to be called. Portions are large and served piping hot. You can order meals with slaw, hush puppies and fries or sandwiches. It is usually packed at lunch, but orders are prepared quickly. If you have room left after eating your meal, try the lemon pie. more
