RIPOFF!!!\r We used the Living Social deal-paid $60 for what was supposed to be a $120 value: cut, “all-over” color (which was listed in the details) and a condition. I dropped my 15-year old daughter off because they said it would take 3 hours. My daughter called me later and said that when the color washed out it was bright pink. I returned to the salon, where the stylist and (owner?) revealed that they had already (without my knowing), applied a second color to her hair to fix it and that I would be charged $50 additional. The owner tried to tell me that the Living Social deal was only a $60 value when in fact it STATED $120 value...she said the deal included only 4 ounces of color (the amount for a root touch-up, which was NOT what was listed in the details of the deal). She said they had already applied 3 times that and I was still getting a good deal. I feel totally ripped off-they should have consulted me first. We will not be returning, obviously. more

I have spent the past year since I moved to Longmont searching for a perfect place to combine all services. If I had known about Mystic Garden from the beginning, I wouldn't have wasted my money at other places. more

I first started going to Mystic Garden Spa & Salon about 7 or 8 years ago. I just checked them out and liked their service. They are located close to where I live and the atmosphere at the spa is nice. My favorite services are the Massage and the Hydro-Bath. I have had an excellent experience there. I started using Mystic Garden Spa & Salon when Shirley opened the doors about 10 years ago because she is a friend of mine. I have continued to use them because I need it! I go regularly, every 2 weeks, to get the Gardener's Integrative Massage, which includes deep tissue massage focused around the neck and shoulders. When I miss a week, I notice that I am not as limber. The therapists are wonderful and friendly. They really know their stuff and how to make me feel better. I have developed a good relationship with my therapist. The atmosphere at Mystic Garden Spa & Salon is very calming, with gentle music playing. I also take advantage of Shirley's offer that, if you book 3 sessions, you get the 4th one free. This is a great benefit. Brenda Graffis more

I have been to Mystic Garden salon a couple of times. I have gotten good service there and enjoyed my facials. The location is good because there is plenty of parking but it is not a shopping area I go to often. more

Especially in this economy, I am looking for price, quality, and great customer service. I got it all at Mystic Garden Spa. The front desk staff were very welcoming and my facial and massage were so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Very highly recommended! I had an incident where I was told that I could use a coupon and returned to my car after payment while I waited for a girlfriend to pay. The owner called me on my cell phone and had me return back to the shop from the parking lot because she said that the use of the coupon wasn't valid. I did not end up paying any more on the bill but will never return to the shop due to the rude and unjustified treatment. I had spent alot of money in that business for teenage facials and gift certificates, etc. I will not return. Buyer beware.... more

I had a full day here and wow I loved It! The facial was great included hand and foot treatment! Massage was great to and service was amazing. They got me lunch right on time. I can tell you this was just what I needed after moving. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and take time away. I too was disappointed. I have been a customer for a couple of years and have noticed achange. The front desk receptionists were unmanicured and dressed in baggy clothing. They did not look salon appropriate. There was no sense or feeling of relaxation. The treatment room was cold and bright. I could not fall into deep relaxation because my feet were cold and the light was a nuisance. I went in for an 1 1/2 facial to treat acne and was never once consulted about my face. When I asked questions about my face, her responses were short. The facial only lasted an hour and 10 minutes. When I went to pay, the receptionists quoted me $5.00 more than the website. She explained that this person charged more. I was not informed of this additional charge on the phone and refused to pay it. My face felt soft and clean, but the $90.00 for the facial did not feel like a good investment in the end. Pros: Full spa and salon Cons: Service from the staff more

I decided to have the deep cleansing facial done at Mystic Gardens. The facial I receive here was not very good at all. The room was very bright and cold, so that it was very hard for me to relax at all and the steam machine kept dripping extremely hot water on my arm. The woman who did my facial didn't ask any questions about my skin or even touch it before starting to apply products to it. She had the sink in the room running for most of the facial and started to clean up the room (with paper towels and a spray cleaning bottle) while I still had a mask on my face. The extractions that she did on my face were painful and some of them are still red. My face does feel pretty soft, but I did not feel relaxed during the facial. This is a neat place, very nicely decorated. great selection of spa treatments. Prices are OK and service is ok.. They have messed up on my scheduling a number of time. But the best place in Longmont for a spa that i've found. PROS: CONS: scheduling problems more
