Hidden Gem 3/20/2006

This strip mall Thai restaurant is the best in Decatur, hands down. It is even better food than any place in the Highlands. Definitely try a curry, the hot/sour soup is awesome, too. Prices are a steal for the quality and portion size. Only downside is the Marvel comics red and yellow paint job, but the food and the friendly service are worth the depleted ambience. dont go for the ambience or service, but the food is great for our first visit. the curries have more complex flavors than the standard va highlands fare. i have been to thailand 3 times and this better captures their nuances. portions are large and inexpensive. the place is like an echo chamber since it has tile floors, not for a first date, go for the food. more

Yummy! 2/7/2003

The food was delicious. I enjoyed the Satay and the springrolls with creamcheese filling as much as the curry. The staff were friendly and attentive. more
