The employees love their jobs, and it shows. 10/22/2008

I've been shopping at the Mustard Seed Markets for about 15 years. As a Dietitian, I know that over this time, I've eaten so many more nutrients, than I would have, if I had shopped at the neighborhood stores. I know that I can always trust the Mustard Seed for very good quality as well as humane, meat and dairy products. I only buy meat from the Mustard Seed. I buy many gifts there, I have attended many seminars (very interesting), and have eaten at both restaurants many times. Always good I take advantage of the many food items on sale monthly. And I always enjoy the free samples. Pros: good sales Cons: very expensive, I try to only buy the sale items. more

Organic food and healthy food 11/23/2005

This place sells all kinds of organic food and other organic products. They have health foods and organic produce. They also have a lot of products for the home that have not been tested on animals. The prices can be kind of high here because organic stuff costs more. PROS: Organic food and other products are here CONS: High prices more

This is such a great place for finding organic and homeopathic products. There's lots of variety and brands. Some things are expensive, but It's nice to have this business close by since there is not much in this area that provide such a service. more

I love to cook, and when I want quality ingredients and good prices I go to the Mustard Seed Market. They are very helpful, and they have a wonderful selection. more

Great food... 6/6/2005

Lots of samples out all the time. Fresh made deli foods, salad bar and the cheapest place to refill our water bottles. A friendly staff is always at hand. Lots of selections.. PROS: Good tasting samples CONS: Prices are on the high end except bottling water. more

Groceries With Character 2/12/2004

This is a nice find in the Fairlawn area of Akron. Mustard Seed is located in the West Market Plaza not too far from I-77. This plaza is very busy but there is ample parking. The market is an ecclectic mix of homemade and non mass-produced goods, health and beauty supplies etc. They even have a nice selection of beers from around the world. Pros: Mom and Pop feel more
