company was recommended by warranty repair. Frank and Tyler came out promptly, diagnosed the problem and made the repairs. Used them a second time about a year later (6 months) ago. Said they would be out within the hour, called and said would be late, and then showed up about 2 hours later. Diagnosed the problem, went and picked up the part and repaired the washer. All was good. Called them again on Feb. 12, said they would be out later that day. Diagnosed the problem as a broken control board, called the supply company and said it would be 179.00 for the part but it was a special order only and would need to be paid for up front. Since I had done business with them before and did not have a ny problems with them, Like A Fool, I gave him the money. He said it would be three days. One week later I called and got no answer. Another week went by and he finally answered. Said grandma died and he would be out on Monday. NO SUCH LUCK. Still have not gotten a hold of him. Now goes by Sooner Appliance. 227-6194 more

Mustang Appliance = Terrible Service and Liars 11/8/2009

I have been dealing with Mustang Appliance for a month now. Initially I was told they would be at my home ""first thing in the morning"". They did not show up until after 9pm. No exaggeration. Then the pothead smelling repair man said he would order my part and it should be in before the week was out. Lie #2. I waited and waited and waited some more. When I called the man would say that it will be in today or tommorrow and he would fix it there after. Lie #3. Part is still not in and now when I call I get a message saying that thier mailbox is full and I cant leave a message. I am sure it is full- of people like me wanting to know when thier appliance will be fixed like promised. Cons: tHEY LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING AND ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH. more

WORST SERVICE AVAILABLE 9/22/2008

We called Mustang Appliance to come repair a washing machine. Frank showed up the very next day. Told us a part had to be special ordered and he could have it in a couple of days. We had to pay them a $90 service call and for the part up front. One week went by and we had not heard from Mustang Appliance. We called and they said they would be there that day. Never seen or heard from them. We kept calling them and hearing the same story. We told them we want our money back. We still have not received it. We have tried and tried to call them many times a day, they might answer after you try for about twenty times. Someone named Tyler always answers ands says you need to talk to Frank. But he will not give a phone number to reach Frank. Tyler said they are very busy and have a hard time coming back to finish the job. THEY SURE CAN BE ON THE JOB VERY QUICK IF THEY THINK THEY CAN SCAM YOU FOR A SPECIAL ORDER PART. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY IT IS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE. FIND SOMEONE ELSE. Add incompetent to the previous negative reviews. It took a full month for this guy to ""repair"" a window unit air conditioner. I put repair in quotes because his idea of repair is to use electrical tape to seal a Freon leak which, of course, did not work. The unit is just as broke now as when he got it a month ago, only now it is dirtier as if it was stored outside in the elements while he had it. The unit was under an extended warranty so I'm not out any money, just some time and frustration getting him to return calls and let me know what was going on. He finally returned the a/c after the warranty company jumped him several times. I think it safe to say he's going to lose his contract with them because now they have to find another repairman to fix the thing. Under no circumstances should anyone consider using this guy for anything. Avoid at all costs! Pros: None that I can think of Cons: Too many to list more

Absolutely Never Use 7/11/2008

I called because Metro builders had recommended them, boy were they ever wrong. I'm sure they have no idea how terrible this business is being ran. I had the owner come out in the beginning of April and look at my dishwasher. He charged $50 to come out and tell me what part I needed. He then said my parts could only be special ordered, it sounds like that must be what he tells all of his customers. Since my parts were special order, I would need to go ahead and pay in advance for the parts. Knowing better, I understood paying in advance for a special order. I told him I needed the dishwasher fixed asap because I was going in to have a baby in a few weeks. After two weeks, I called and my order must have been lost, I was told they were backordered and sometimes those specialty parts (a latch) take longer to get. After endless calls, I still cannot get my part and can't get ahold of the owner. The person who answers the phone continues to say only the owner can help me and knows about my order-how convenient. The gist is it has been three and a half months (the baby is two months now) and I still have no part and haven't gotten my money back. I am so frustrated with these people I could scream!! Not sure what is up with them 5/16/2008

Mustang Appliance came out to look at my dishwasher. They said they had to order a part and it would be about a week. I waited patiently and called them after about two weeks, wanting to know if they forgot about me. They said that the part was backordered. I waited another two weeks and called again. They said the part being was still backordered. They gave me the part number and told me to call the dishwasher manufacturer. I called the manufacturer and they overnighted me the part the same day (it was NOT backordered, this is a very common part and available from them and all over the internet-I checked it out). I have the part in hand and will have another Frigidaire authorized service person to come complete the warranty work. Pros: they were polite Cons: no confidence in them more

Horrible. Took 40 dollars for him to come look at our stove for 10 min. Said he would call back about parts availability. He did not call for 5 days, so finally I gave him a call and he said they were on back order. A week later I gave a call again, they only got one part in. Company has kept me waiting two weeks to fix my dishwasher. The first guy that came out was very dirty and reeked of smoke. They said I had to be here from 8-5, which I sat here all day. They were supposed to call between 9-9:30 to give me a better time frame and never called so I had to sit here for 9 hours to wait. He finally showed up at 4:45. He said they had to order a part. He said 2-3 days. The following week when I called, the owner complained to me that he had no one to work his phones and had all kinds of problems. He said he would call when the part came in. Three days later, I called him and he got mad at me saying it wasn't his fault the part didn't show up and he had to hear it from the customers. He made an appt with me, saying the part should be in. I sat and waited (AGAIN all day long) and he never showed up and wouldn't answer the phone. I called today, Monday, and he didn't answer. When I called the warranty comp. back, they called him and he said he didn't have the part and never schedule an appt with me, which is VERY untrue. Owner is very unprofessional. I canceled the order completely with them and have requested that their name be removed as a company that represents Frigidaire. Pros: Can't think of one good thing about the company. Cons: Too many to list. more
