Musello, Kate, Md - Musello Partnership Llc

I saw Dr Musello a few years ago and the experience was great. However, I recently went back on a different insurance and boy did the problems begin. I had wanted to talk about some minor problems I was experiencing with my IUD. Upon mentioning I was having some slight issues with it, the PA advised I have it removed the same day but didn't bother to ask exactly what was going on. In hindsight, I wish I had been more persistent to share my issue. Instead it was removed and an Rx called in for a birth control patch. The PA told me to call if I had any other questions or concerns about it. Upon getting to the pharm, the patch wasn't covered by my ins :( I called the office back and it took a few days to get another Rx called in. Unfortunately, that one wasn't covered either! I called the office again and explained that I was on a new government supported insurance and it only covered a few things. Boy was that a mistake! After mentioning my government ins, nobody called me back and I had to call again 5-6 business days later. Of course I was upset about the lack of return call. This time the doc got on the phone and told me to go to another office if I was dissatisfied! Why do they even accept my insurance if they don't want to deal with the restrictions??? I would not recommend them to anybody if they treat people this way! more

Dr Musello and her staff are all very friendly and helpful. I like the mentality of her and her staff in that they do not actively promote ever-medicating but instead try to use natural methods as a 1st resort if they feel it will still be effective. They are also very thorough during every appointment, allowing time for me to ask questions and also ask me questions as well. The wait time for appointments is usually pretty minimal as well. When I was new in town with only 1 month before my baby was due, Dr. Musello welcomed me warmly and made me feel completely at ease. It's not easy to find a new doctor (especially one you can click with) at such a late date in a pregnancy. She was very thorough in all information she gave me and even promised to deliver if she was not on call. Sure enough she ran into the birthing room right on time to deliver my healthy new son. I can't say enough about what a competent, kind and compassionate physician she is. more
