This Place is rip off The owner is not friendly he wants the Green, all these people on here are Fools theres better vets in the area stay away from this place the Doctors are rude \r my Dog was given false diagnosis,, people wake up or spend all your money till u go into debt WAKE UP stay away from the Owner hes EVIL and so is his people that work for HIM\r more

Terrible Experience! 8/21/2012

I took my cat here because my regular vet was booked for the day. It's good that they can take walk ins, but they are outrageously overpriced. They wanted to charge me $500 to lance and drain a small abscess. When I told them there was no way I could afford it, they told me all they could do was knock $70 off the bill or apply for Care Credit. They wanted to completely sedate my cat, run blood tests, and way more than was even necessary. I ended up taking my cat to Calumet Emergency Vet and it only cost $187. I don't remember what doctor I saw, but I will say, he was very nice and personable. All in all, I would never recommend this place to anyone, unless they have plenty of extra cash lying around. more

I have been a client of Munster Animal Hospital for years! They are awesome: everyone- friendly, knowledgeable receptionists, kind technicians and smart, compassionate doctors! And the whole place is very clean and the other pets I see look very well cared for- I know MY pets are! Everyone takes the time to answer my questions and they actually CARE- for REAL and sincerely! Fantastic Services and People 12/1/2011

I have been in the area for almost 3 years now, and I have not taken my cats elsewhere. The Doctors are knowledgeable, friendly, thorough, and I trust they know what's best for my babies. Even though I can't bring my birds here to see the vets, I will only bring them to the groomers here for beak and nail trims. They are gentle and take their time. This hospital is one of the best in the region. First, I love this place because it is always clean and the staff always gives the most professional service. I recently adopted two dogs (who came from the same household) and I was concerned about the separation anxiety one of them was having. He was not only having separation anxiety but other emotional issues. The doctor empathized with my pet and helped us with a plan to make my pet more comfortable in his new environment. He is now a healthy, stable and loving dog and I am very thankful for the Munster Animal Staff! You guys are the best! Pros: null Cons: null more

Wonderful Help All Around! 9/12/2011

Last time I took my pet to the vet (NOT Munster) I was offered a slew of unnecessary and expensive testing for a relatively simple problem (my dog basically had an upset stomach). After that I was a little leery of vets in general. more
