The Best Vets BY FAR...They truly care 8/24/2011

I have lived in Michigan and Calif and I have had cats for 40 yrs....Dr.Munson and Dr.Naito are the best vets by far. They truly do care about your pets NOT the money. They are genuine as can be and you can feel the love they have for your babies. A couple of my cats are skittish around anyone but me but not with Dr. Munson and Dr. Naito...they can feel that they have the love for them. I use to drive 26 miles one way just to go to see these vets because I love my animals and cant afford some of these other vets who claim to be in the business for the animals when the real truth is it is more for the money. Yeah it gets crowded and yeah you have to wait but dont you get it??? They are the best and that is what true loving pet owners want for their babies...The best. So who cares about the wait...you would wait for the best for yourself..why not your pets. I recommend them with all my heart...you are crazy to go anywhere else. A very satisfied and dedicated pet owner. Go PET VET....wishing you many, many more years of excellent service..HUGS to ALL!! more

Little bit busy, but a great vet! 7/26/2011

I have had great experiences with the vets and the staff at Huntington Pet Vet. Just recently my dog Sable had a nasty case of pink eye (I didn't even realize dogs could get that lol!). She was very uncomfortable for a few days but Dr. Naito was able to get us in quickly and after a few days Sable was back to her usual, happy self. I would totally recommend HB Pet Vet to anyone in the area. The only bad thing I could possibly say about the place is that it can get crowded, and I have waited a while to see my doc before. But that is a small price to pay for the caring service you will get here! more

Dr. Naito is THE BEST! 12/9/2008

In a world of greedy veterinarians, Dr. Naito is one of the last of those who are dedicated to their profession and care more about their patients than lining their own pockets. She is extremely competent, kind, and compassionate. more

Please don't take your pet to Pet-Vet 11/6/2007

I took my perfectly healthy, 2 year old dog to the Pet-Vet to have a simple bump removed off of his chest. I got a call several hours later from Dr. Naito stating that my dog died on the operating table, but they brought him back to life. My dog can no longer see or hear, and can barely walk and does not know me or my husband anymore. Basically my dog has severe brain damage from cardiac arrest. I spoke with another vet to get a second opinion and also did some research of my own. The information I came up with is startling. Dr. Naito and her team were negligent and dishonest with me. She did not monitor my dog once she administered the anesthesia and possibly gave him to much anesthesia, so that in turn caused him to stop breathing, then his heart stopped. My research leads me to believe that my dog was dead for more than 5 minutes before Dr. Naito noticed. That is why the brain damage is so severe. Pros: No pressure sales Cons: Too busy to care for peoples pets properly more

VET MAY BE GREAT BUT YOU WOULDN'T KNOW IT 7/2/2007

THE vet may be wonderful but the rest of this outfit is to be avoided ! TOTAL MASS CHAOS you sit for 40 mins to drop off pets for simple baths - was told when pets picked up that they had NOT received vacs (even though I was strongly advised to order them - which I did) and then low and behold I was billed for them anyway - I requested that both pets be sedated and put big notices on their carriers - was told no problem however they were not sedated. Have been put on hold 4 times in 30 mins - when I asked to discuss with office staff they were combative, defensive and flip - they could care less - this business needs a strong administrator in the front office - it is a mess - dogs getting loose and running back from the examination ooms - people piled up (11 people waiting when I got there) staff confused and getting wrong pets with wrong owners - stay away. Pros: Not rediculously expensive Cons: Staff cannot handle front office - chaos mixing up files and pets more

kind thoughtful and generous 2/23/2007

Exceptionally wonderful vet. Everyone is skilled, kind and rather quirky. If you're on a tight budget you can ask to see Dr. Naito w/o an examining room and get a cheaper rate. Her patients owners are VERY loyal and although the wait can be long it so worth it. Pros: wonderful vet Cons: everyone loves her so lots of business more

Open seven days a week 1/8/2007

Dr. Naito is a work-a-holic. Her hospital is open seven days a week and walk-ins are welcome. It can be a zoo so appointments are definitely recommended. Dr. N utilizes a calm approach to veterinary care, which is MOST welcome. My dog was diagnosed with cancer and underwent chemotherapy at Huntington Pet Vet. She was treated with the utmost respect and care and lived for nine months. Would I recommend Dr. Naito? Definitely! She also incorporates holistic treatments, which is something I am definitely for. Pros: Very reasonably priced, caring vet and many caring vet techs as well Cons: Sometimes the wait time can be long, even with a scheduled appointment-bring a book more
