Happy puppy and kitty paws in Mud Bay... 12/31/2006

We have been going here for quite some time (before it was Mud Bay) and we get all of our pet supplies here. Christmas this year for our pets was dominated by pet toys and treats and the hedgehog squeeky toy is an all time favorite of both our flat coat retriever and our smaller Jerk Russell Terrorists (terriers). The bulk treats are a big hit but what is bigger even than those are the greenies and the peanut butter biscuits with chunks of real peanuts on the top with a peanut butter like frosting. Our retriever could barely stand himself waiting for it as it came out of his paw stocking. We also get the basics of food and other leashes and general pet supplies. The cat usually gets treats and catnip as well. Yes, we are the catnip drug pushers to our cat. He's 20 years old and he loves it! There are several locations so it's worth checking around to see if one is near you. more

Good Selection of Pet Foods, Knowlegeable Staff 10/5/2006

Mud Bay Granary has a wonderful selection of high-quality dog and cat foods--kibble, canned, and raw. They also have a nice little magazine about new products they are trying out and very informative handouts. The staff, usually youthful, appear to have been well-trained both in customer service, in their product lines, and in general knowledge of pet needs. When a cat decided to join our household, I learned about the need to be sure cats drink not from my vet but from Mud Bay . This kind of pet food isn't cheap--but I think one saves in the long run on vet bills. My only wish is that they would also stock Innova, more Solid Gold, and Artemis Small Breed food. But, that's a quibble. more

Great Great GREAT STORE! 5/19/2006

It's pricey but if you want the BEST for your fuzzy buddies then Mud Bay is the place to go! I have only been to the Greenwood location and all the employees are so great and knowledgeable. They are always more than willing to answer questions and make recommendations. They all have their owns pets, too, so they know from experience. Highly recommended with TONS to choose from! You will not be disappointed! more

Want the best for your pet? Mud Bay is the only place to go! 3/21/2006

We love our animal very much, and we want him to eat well. Everyone who comes to our house and pets our cat comments on how lovely his coat is, and we know it's because we give him high quality food. The people at Mud Bay are great, and we love the selection of toys they have available. Although we always buy the same food (Royal Canin), there is also a large selection of food. We'll never stop shopping at Mud Bay! more

Best Pet Store in Seattle 3/19/2006

When my husband and I adopted two kittens from PAWS Cat City in Greenwood, we were given coupons for free supplies at Mud Bay. That is all it took to get us hooked. They have a great variety of "healthy" pet foods. We never worry about giving our kitties food that has animal by-products in it. They also have a great selection of toys for both cats and dogs. That is important to us cat owners because many times the smaller pet stores carry mostly dog supplies. more

My favorite local pet supply store 12/28/2005

I converted to Mud Bay a little over a year ago, and it was a great move. They stock natural pet food and litter, and have informational sheets to help you choose the right stuff. My cats love the Nutro food and their wheat litter, and I feel good about using products that are good for them and not harmful to the environment. Plus the selection of cat toys is the best around, and they always carry fresh catgrass. The section for dogs is even bigger; they also have leashes, kennels and tons of other supplies. Best of all--I can always find street parking at the Greenwood location. For all these reasons and more, I highly recommend Mud Bay. more
