Mrs Hanes' Moravian Cookie

I ordered a tin of cookies and when I received the tin it was filled with poisonous scorpions! I called customer service for a refund and the woman said she was going to shoot me in the face! Nah, seriously, I love their ginger cookies. They're so thin and crispy and delicious I can't stop eating them. I'm munching on some right now. Do yourself a favor and buy some. You will be happy you did. :-) more

Opened a tin of newly purchased Mrs Hanes Cookies during the Christmas season. Was surprised to discover the cookies weren't fit to eat, with an unusual aroma and a small amount of liquid in the tin. Called Mrs Hanes Cookies and requested permission to return the cookies for replacement. The sarcasm and hostility exhibited by their telephone receptionist Gigi Condon was amazing! She must have been out of Midol, if you know what I mean. Mrs Hanes would be wise to keep her away from customers at least five days every month. After biting my head off, she went on to snarl that NO, there would be no replacement sent, because no doubt I'd find something wrong with whatever I got. Then she hung up on me. Questionable cookies, and unbelievably bad customer service. Pay your money and take your chances. more

Mrs. Hanes Moravian Cookies is conveniently located close to my home. It is so easy for me to swing by and purchase their delicious cookies. If you haven't been before, make sure you tell them when you get there. They will take you on a "mini tour" of the plant and show and tell you how everything is made. It is quite educational. You can sample any flavor cookie before you buy them to make sure you like them too. They also ship anywhere in the world. These thin cookies are by far the BEST cookies made. Make sure you get the butterscotch flavored ones. They are yummy! more
