Mr. T's Moving & Hauling Service

My experience with Mr. T was trouble from the beginning. He offered me a bid for moving a lg size home over the phone. I called him back to request he come out to view the full scope of the job and he declined, however, on the day of the move he sent his son who informed me that his dad significantly under bided and he sought to gouge me out of more money by upping the bid more than double. I refused and negotiated down to what I had received as a previous bid from another company. I knew I was in trouble when it took 8 to 10 men to pack my items, they ran out of boxes and had to scavenge boxes from local stores and recycled boxes that had been used prior (so the boxes were mislabeled, ran out of wardrobe boxes only about 4 boxes for 5 walk-in closets(ended up just throwing my clothes in a box losing hangars, wrinkling clothes), packed cleaning products on fine linen, used expensive comforter(dry clean only) without my permission to cover/pad furniture, broke antique lamps and shades, ran out of packing paper and went to corner store to get neighborhood circular, expensive electronics have not been located since the move (I have remotes, owner's manuals, warranty info,etc.) My advice to anyone using the obnoxious and foul mouthed Mr. T is to check to make sure prior to the move that your homeowners' insurance covers the loss you will incur and get ready for all your neighbors to hate you when 8 to 10 men using loud and profane language, smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages converge on the once upper middle class neighborhood. more

I was very pleased with my move. The trucks and men arrived within the expected time. The men took care of my things ensuring that they did not damage my walls or the furniture. They were professional and courteous. If I would move again, I would call upon Mr T's Moving and Hauling. more

Movers arrived on time, were courteous and took all the steps necessary to protect our belongings. I was pleasantly surprised by the price and service. Next time I move, I will use Mr T's Moving and Hauling again. more

They were amazingly fast! They were very talented when it came to getting large items out of doors and around corners. They also had to manually hoist my mattress, wooden desk, and wooden file cabinet up to the second floor. The only stairs up to the second floor were spiral which made it impossible to use for these large items. They securely wrapped all of my furniture before it left the apartment. 2 of the guys also helped me put together some Metro shelving because the TV had to be placed on it. They were very professional and extremely efficient. more

Mr T's Moving and Hauling crew arrived at the hour we had set for the starting time. They were hard-working, and clearly had a lot of experience; they didn`t need a lot of explaining from Javier on what to do next. There certainly wasn`t any standing around slacking. more

They were very efficient..no standing around chatting like every other moving company we`ve hired. We were very impressed and cannot say enough positive things about them. Very, very hard working!!! more

They packed and moved my computer and my video and audio equipment with no damage. For a rush job under difficult conditions, they seem to have done a very impressive job. I have found nothing missing or damaged in the slightest. more

Moved a large houseful of belongings in under the estimated time by 2 hours. I had done all the packing, but after 36 years of residence in same house, there were a lot of boxes. The men were careful and efficient. more

The office staff was friendly and informative. The moving company sent four very hardworking employees. They padded all the furniture and wrapped all the upholstered furniture, mattresses, box springs, etc. with film to keep them clean. They pointed out prior damage. So far, we have not found any damage to our furniture or to walls. They carefully disassembled and reassembled desks and tables. The men were very pleasant and took direction very well. We got good value and they were very careful. I have moved a dozen times...this was the best move. more

Everyone we talked to was helpful and responsive; the crew was right on time, efficient and pretty amazing to watch. The price ended up being a little more than I`d expected, but it was totally worth it. more

It was by far the best experience we could have had. My only complaint is that they were early, and we weren`t fully packed. That was our fault and not theirs. The movers were fast and very professional. The cost was a little less than we expected too. Overall, we are very satisfied and have already referred a lot of people to them. more

We are extremely happy with the services performed for the cost incurred. The up front estimate provided was beneficial for comparison purposes and proved to have been calculated well. The crew worked tirelessly from the time they arrived to the time of completion. The job took over 10 hours to complete. The movers were pleasant, respectful and accommodating to our requests. The furniture that needed the mover`s packing/protection was handled professionally and securely. We would hire Mr T's Moving and Hauling again!! more

This was the best move I`ve experienced. The estimate was within a few dollars of the final cost. The moving crew (five individuals) was courteous, professional, and careful. The crew chief was excellent, and seemed committed to providing us with a quality moving experience. There are movers that may be less expensive, but the price was fair and you need to beware of bargain basement movers. You get what you pay for. more

To sum it up, on time, friendly, knowledgeable crew, no broken stuff, no broken furniture, no hidden charges and no dilly dallying. I was delivered more than I was promised. I have and will refer you to all my friends others looking to move. Thank you guys and good luck. more
