I had a great experience with Mr. Transmission of Clarksville. I brought in my Diesel Pickup when my transmission started to slip. They were able to rebuild it and put a kit into it. They did a really nice job, and I haven't had a problem since. I would recommend them. more

Excellent service. 1/20/2015

Mr. Transmission of Clarksville provides excellent service. I needed my transmission replaced, and the mechanics there took good care of my vehicle and fixed it within the right time frame. This was my first time using them, and I would gladly use them again if necessary. more

My angel of a mechanic 12/19/2014

Each time I have used Mr. Transmission, they have been extremely nice. My car broke down and stopped running, and I had no money. The auto repair shop was across the street, and I told the mechanic named Jim who was working there what was going on. He paid for my transmission, and said I could pay him back when I came. He even paid for my rental car at Hertz. He understood my dilemma. He didn't even know me, and he did this. He said "don't worry about it, let's just get you home and I'll see you when your car is fixed". I call him "my angel". more

Quality service in a reasonable timeframe. 12/17/2014

The transmission of my vehicle went out, so I decided to take it to Mr. Transmission of Clarksville. They diagnosed the problem and rebuilt it for me. The only reason I'd give them four stars instead of five is that it took longer for them to finish work because of ordering parts, and they did not communicate that with me. Other than that, I was happy with the performance of their work. This was my first time using them, and I would use them again. more

I would highly recommend Mr. Transmission of Clarksville. Although they were a bit shorthanded on people, they were very good. They did it right and were great at handling issues that came along. Without a second thought I would definitely go back to them if needed. more

Very good, prompt and timely. 10/28/2014

Mr. Transmission of Clarksville really helped me out when no one else could. I was having some trouble with my engine, and I thought it had to do with the transmission. So I took it to a few places and they couldn't figure it out. I finally took my car to Mr. Transmission, and they found that the motor mouth needed to be replaced. They immediately fixed it and got everything right. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants quick and quality customer service. more

Disapointed because my previous experience was excellent. 10/21/2014

I took my car to Mr. Transmission of Clarksville because the transmission had gone out again and it was still under warranty. The transmission work was completed, but they forgot to tighten the back and pinion together. I had to take my car to another shop to tighten it up because it was very dangerous to drive it. I faxed the copy of the invoice to the shop and they paid me for the labor ($65 out of $140 spent). Who ever does their quality control, there is no way they could have tested my car and said was good to go. They said it was okay to drive and my family drove it back home - this is a big safety concern! I'm disappointed because a few years back they did and excellent job, but not this time. more

Clear, honest, and kept us informed. 9/29/2014

Mr. Transmission of Clarksville did some transmission work on my Pontiac Vibe. It's never fun to take your vehicle in for repairs since it is expensive, but the technicians that worked with us made the experience a little better. The technicians were able to tell us what the problem was overall, and also go into detail. They were great about making sure we understood what was wrong with the car, and let us know what the cost was. We were quoted $1500-2200. It ended up costing more on the expensive end of their quote, but there was a lot wrong with our transmission. Overall, the technicians were clear, honest, and kept us informed. I would recommend their services. more

Mr. Transmission of Clarksville has done a fantastic job on my transmission over the years. They always do what they say that they are going to do. All of the guys are really good. I continue to always go back to them because they are honest and trustworthy. I recommend them to everybody all of the time. more

The only place to go for transmission repair. 8/18/2014

This was my first time using Mr. Transmission of Clarksville. They treated me really well. They rebuilt the transmission in my 2009 Saturn Outlook. The whole service took about a week and half, or so. They performed the service while I went on vacation. I was more than pleased with the results. The guys that worked with me were super nice and really seemed like they knew what they were talking about. I definitely would go back, and and have already recommended them to two or three other people. more

Great service with promising results 7/29/2014

My experience with Mr. Transmission of Clarksville has been excellent and I love doing business with them specifically, only when I have to of course. They have always treated me with the utmost respect and courteousness, and for that I love them even more. Their work is very thorough and detailed, affordable and satisfying as well. I have always asked lots of questions about the service being performed and George has never hesitated or shy'd away from answering anything. He is very knowledgeable and runs the business in a very prompt and professional manner. Going forward, I will continue to use their services as needed be and highly recommend them to anybody else in the local area who is in need of a reliable and trustworthy mechanic. These guys are fantastic to work with and you will not be disappointed with the service received. more

The people working at Mr. Transmission are knowledgeable, and have a way of explaining things. They have the ability to tell me things about my car that help me. Gary in particular has a professional way of speaking, and a professional presentation of himself. He knows about transmissions, and he has a good way of presenting himself. I have had no problems with them what so ever. more

First Class Experience 7/1/2014

I was 300 miles away from home when my transmission went out near Clarksville, IN. Someone at a nearby business recommended that I call Mr. Transmission on Lewis & Clark Pkwy. I'm so glad that I did!!!!! I could not have asked for better service!!!! Everyone there provided excellent service and they went above and beyond my expectations.....The owner made sure that I didn't go hungry or thirsty. He even made several calls looking for a "non transmission related part", had it delivered and installed it for me so I would not get in trouble with the DOT (he did this without being asked). He had so much wisdom to offer me along with extreme kindness. The manager and all of the other office employees talked and made me feel welcome as I waited. The transmission specialists worked NON stop (I could see them through the window) to make sure that I got home as quickly as possible. I will FOREVER be grateful for the outpouring of kindness and 1st Class work on my transmission! Thanks again, You're New Alabama Friend & #1 Fan "Cindy" more

Hassle-free service 6/25/2014

Mr. Transmission is the best. All of the staff is very knowledgeable and personable. The mechanic that helped me with my car walked me through all of the issues with my transmission and what exactly he could do to fix it. He pointed out the cracked parts that he could replace and I never felt pressured to get any services. The repair was done in a timely manner and now everything with my transmission is running perfectly. I'd definitely use them again, if need be. more
