Bait and Switch 11/15/2010

I see generally positive reviews, which is good, but contrary to my experience. I called them in response to a Mr. Rooter Advertisement to clear a drain for $69. When they came out, the price was $209.00. When I objected and told them I was going to report them to the BBB, they backed off and said they would do it for $69, but I threw them out. I don't do bait and switch. more

The crew (Brian, Jimmy and Curt) did an excellent job of diagnosing my sewer problem and answering my questions. I really appreciated their honesty and not trying to sell me services that I didn't need. I'll definitely recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone I know that needs plumbing service. Roger O. more

Great..but EXPENSIVE EXPENSIVE EXPENSIVE 9/22/2005

PROS Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Came 1-2 hours after I called them Wide variety of services - can fix ANYTHING Tell you the exact price BEFORE they start 15-Day warranty (will come again for free) CONS EXPENSIVE - Almost $200 to fix a clogged TOLIET. I about had a HEART ATTACK when they told us this.. BUT my husband haggled with them and somehow managed to get it to $40.. Thank GOD. more
