Mr Rooter

Mr. Rooter charged my 90 year old mother-in-law, who lives by herself, $798 to clear a clog in her sewer, which took them 45 minutes to do. They claimed that because it was a "soft clog" made up of toilet paper, they had to use a water jet to free the blockage, instead of a snake, and this added several hundred dollars to the cost. The previous year, my mother-in-law had used a different plumber to clear the same kind of blockage and was charged only $247 for this service. In my opinion, Mr. Rooter is completely unethical and took advantage of a confused senior citizen. Use them at your own peril. I have given them 1 star, because the web site I am writing this review on will not allow me to submit the review without entering at least one star. Mr. Rooter deserves zero stars in my opinion. more

Mr. Rooter did their job as expected. There was nothing extraordinary about Mr. Rooter because you expect them to be good, and they were excellent but the part that I thought was amazing was when the plumber was done he actually helped me clean up. I've never had anyone else do work on my house and help me clean up the mess they made, it was just very nice to see. more
