Unequivocally excellent 2/27/2013

I was really impressed with Mr. Rooter of Oakland. So much so that I called them the next day to tell them what a good job Scott, the plumber, had done. They are top notch. He really went the extra mile. Even though it was late in the day, he stayed with the job. He was very, very good. more

20+ year old water heater cracked 2/12/2013

When my water heater cracked and was quickly leaking water all I could think of was, "How will my teenage daughters fair without hot water for a 1-2 week period"? I called Mr. Rooter in the afternoon and had a repair team out the next morning. And, instead of sitting around for a 2-4 hour period waiting for their arrival, I got a courtesy call letting me know when they were on their way. I met them at my house and 4 hours a later, we had hot water. In addition to installing a new water heater, the repair team built a new base and secured straps/supports to meet earthquake code. From the person who answered the phone to the repair team, Mr. Rooter's employees were professional, courteous and efficient - I highly recommend them. more

They do great work. 1/22/2013

I've been using them for years. I really like the attention I get from them. They all know who I cam when I call and they know the property that they are dealing with. They've done some fairly sizable jobs for me and they've always done a good job. They always follow up afterwards and if there is a problem they fix it immediately. more

I called Mr. Rooter and they came out quickly. He explained everything and adjusted what needed to be done. He was very professional! I would recommend Mr. Rooter and I was very satisfied with them! more

Mr. Rooter is dependable, and they get right out there when you need them! They give you good service. They ran a new water line from the street into the house, and installed toilets and things like that. They have done some repairs and put in a new water heater. The person at Mr. Rooter is a personal friend of my husband, but Mr. Rooter is very good! more

The people at Mr. Rooter were fast, knowledgeable, and prompt! They were good. We were happy and we'd have them over again. I had seen Mr. Rooter's trucks around the neighborhood. When I had a need, I decided to try them the first time, and I was pleased! more

A company I can count on 3/12/2012

I have hired Mr. Rooter to do several jobs around my house. They fixed a toilet. They also fixed the drainage for my washing machine. I also hired them to fix an issue with my kitchen sink. I consider them my stand-by plumbers. They did a wonderful job. They do exactly what they are hired to do and I like that I don't have to call them back twice about any one job. They are on time and are extremely clean. They are extremely polite and kind. They're decent people. more

Oh excellent, they were excellent. Mr. Rooter was very good, personable, and knowledgeable. I dealt with them through my landlord, and I was satisfied with the quality of their service. They do a good job. I've used them for a long time, and I have no bad things to say about them. more

Efficient!! 1/11/2012

The technician from Mr. Rooter was very efficient and fast. He had available the parts that were needed. We were satisfied with the service. Mr. Rooter attended to three different items. The technician changed a faucet, which was the big one. We hadn't had water for the sink, and Mr. Rooter did the job efficiently and very fast. He did all the jobs very efficiently. I did recommend Mr. Rooter to someone. Mr. Rooter provided good, efficient service and we were very pleased with the work! more

Go-to people! 1/10/2012

We've been using Mr. Rooter for years. We use Mr. Rooter for our fourplex and for our personal house, for both business and personal needs. They're always very friendly and on time. They're very trustworthy and do a very good job. We purchased a discount program from Mr. Rooter when we first hired them. When they come back, they take an extra discount off of their bigger services. We would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Rooter. When we have an emergency and don't know who to call, we call Mr. Rooter first. They're the go-to people because of the service and value we've received from them in the past. Very impressive! 6/27/2011

I thought Mr. Rooter did a big job in a fantastic amount of time. In one day they put in a new sewer line for me, digging 14 feet down to connect with the main sewer line. The process involved a backhoe, 4 trucks to take the dirt out, and 7 men, and they did it all in one day. It took a lot of coordinating, and I was very impressed. They were just fantastic! more

Mr. Rooter is professional and efficient. 4/12/2011

We've been using Mr. Rooter for a long time, since the young man inherited the business from his uncle. We've used them for many things, from regular bathroom plumbing to awkward things next door in our rental's basement where there was some strange flooding going on. We keep using Mr. Rooter because of the past service we've received from them. They are reliable and professional and they always come on time when they say they'll be there.
