Mr Pauls Chop House

I have been to 7 of the 10 listed Steak Houses, I cant believe the people have gone to Pauls and still listed Pauls below them. I have yet to find anywhere that compairs, The Filet Mignon is the best I ever had and at about $22 you cant beat the price for a high grade steak. It was wonderful. My husband rated his prime rib as the best he had ever had, and he eats alot of prime rib. THe portions were large and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. I loved the caesar salad being made at our table and the coat check so I did not have to have my coat hanging off of my chair. Even has valet parking! We spent $$, but it was worth it. Excellent Chateau, french onion soup, THE BEST tableside "Caesar Salad" ever. I've heard the next best thing is Ruth's Chris is the next best thing. The wait staff is fantastic. The hostesses, on the other hand, seem to act like you are there for them and not they are there for you. They have attitudes as if you owe them something and not the other way around. Once seated, you are pampered. Everything you need and more is yours. It is still my favorite restaurant as far as steaks go! I just have to blow off the hostess problem, its their problem not mine.
