I miss Mr Pauls 2/10/2010

Good: All of it, If I had to pick a few favs, the Filet Mignon, the lobster, and French onion soup. Bad: On busy night, don't expect a quite dinner for 2. kind of loud, but also still cozy enough to be fun. Improvements: mmmmm, a Bullet train from West Bloomfield where I live to Mr. Pauls Chop House. Other: I used to live on that side of town, and went to Mr Pauls Chop House every week or 2 and always looked forward to going. I can only make it every few months now, but I do savor every time.. more

Wine & Dine in Style 4/4/2006

Paul's is perfect for an anniversary or other very special occassion. Their steaks are delicious!!! Definitely dress up and plan to spend a little more. I have also went to wedding receptions at their hall and yes, they were the very finest. This place is the closest that you will get to perfection and it does cost also. You will see Pauls on the east side of Groesbeck between 12 1/2 (Common) and 13 Mile Roads. Valet parking available. more

Excellent restaurant! 4/1/2006

This restaurant has excellent food, although it is for a nice, dressy night out. I wouldn't recommend a casual night out here. Parking is small but valeted. Staff are very nice, especially the waitress named Geralyn. She knows her stuff and service is fast, courteous and with a smile. Prices are on the high end and the place gets very busy. Credit cards are accepted, also. more

the food and service are great it not somewhere you would want to go to all the time but its great for special occasionsThe have a large selection of food and it all looks so good . the service is very good and the atmosphere is very relaxing, its a good place to take a special date. And the coffee there is very good. more

Mr. Paul's Chophouse is a lovely place to spend a night with your significant other. The low lighting and cozy seating makes for a romantic atmosphere. The food is amazing. Try the baked brie served with baguette and fresh fruit. The prime rib is tender and juicy. Order the swordfish cooked on shiitake mushrooms and artichoke hearts. They have an extensive wine list to accompany their delicious dishes. more
