Great Price, Excellent Customer Service 1/14/2010

Excellent customer services, collections and prices. I checked several used book store in the area and so far Mike's has the best of all.\r When we were there there was a little problem with price and charging (honest mistake) but they quickly corrected it without being asked and gave us gift cards. \r Love this place. more

A real find 9/20/2009

Never pay retail and have a better shopping experience. Mr. Mike's is head and shoulders above the rest. Sure there's no over-priced coffee bar that doesn't accept their own coupons or discounts, but I can get a drink some place else or walk in with one without being glowered at. Pros: Outstanding prices, selection, and service Cons: It should be twice the size more

The Best Bookstore I've found in the Triangle 7/30/2009

I first found this store when I was looking for a Jane Austen book for school. They had it for 99 cents! They don't always have everything I want, but I've found a bunch of great science fiction and mystery books there. I don't pay big bucks for books anymore. If this place doesn't have what I want, I just wait a few weeks and check again. Pros: Great selection, great prices, well organized Cons: Large kids section means (sometimes) screaming kids more

The Best in Town 6/22/2008

I shop all of the local bookstores, and this is easily the best. Best prices. Best science fiction. The cleanest and best organized. I just heard they have a Raleigh store, but I've not yet tried it. I'm hoping it's as good as this one. Pros: Most hardcovers were $3.99. Books are well organized. Cons: Because of their weird shopping center I couldn't see the store from Harrison Ave. more
