Mr K's Used Books & Cd's

I love Mr ks! It is much more organized then other used book stores. Plus they have trade credit which is how I get most of the books there. I was searching around for the left behind books and a found them there for WAY less then I could get them some were else, and there in great condition! They also have a nice collection of books on tape and audios. Great store! more

Mr K's Used Books & Cd's rocks! I love going here and spending as much time as I have because the place is awesome. Everything is well-organized and arranged, and I like it. They have almost anything you are looking for. It's a great way to spend an afternoon. I have bought many items from here, and I have always been well pleased. I don't think you will be disappointed either. The top floor is awesome. You can look at books while peering to the streets and scenery below. What more can you ask for? LOL more

This is the used book store I frequent most often in the area, and there are many reasons. They have better organization than most used bookstores- everything neatly lined up and there is an "index" on the end of every row of bookshelves, so it's much easier to find things you are looking for. They only accept books which are in decent condition or above, and more than half of the books are in nearly new conditions.Keep in mind though, they've actually started carrying a bunch of new books, which are full priced, so keep an eye out for "yellow sticker" books. They also have some audio books, a so-so collection of Cd's and even a small selection of DVD's. And last, but not least, it's a good atmosphere- it's neat to get on the top floor of the store and glance out the window as you browse the books. So, good all around. Thumbs up. more
