this is a favorite of locals and for good reason! the waitstaff is full of fun, knowledgeable folks who love food and wine. the owners are Ricky Mollohan (who also owns Solstice Kitchen & Wine Bar) and Harold Ham and both of these guys will make sure your experience is flawless! \r their wine list is full of great ""finds"" and the menu offers lots of choices with Daily Specials that rival some of the most innovative restaurants in the state. The food is always fresh, the place is always packed and they don't take any reservations. They are also now 100% smoke free! I have reviewed the other restaurant that these guys own (Gervais & Vine) and recently tried this place. WOW!! It's kind of an unassuming place, so when you see the menu and experience the friendly, professional service, you are just blown away. I had clients from Atlanta and they couldn't believe how good this place is. Two of us had their Filet Mignon with Pimento Cheese. OMIGOD! It wasn't cheddar, instead they used blue cheese and roasted red peppers and melted over the perfectly cooked Filet. The wine the waiter recommended was perfect (and they have a huge list, which is strange 'cuz this place is SMALL). We had two of their daily specials and couldn't believe we were eating in Columbia.
