did not quote all fees 4/2/2011

I had a horrible experience with Mr. Electric and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I made an appointment with one of their employees and was quoted a dispatch fee of $29.95. I was told if we decide to have the work done that the $29.95 dispatch fee would be waived. I was then told if we decided not to have the work done that they only ask that I pay the $29.95 dispatch fee for having the truck come out to the house. I made the appointment and George came to my house this morning(very pleasant man)I explained to him the problems I am having. He asked me if the fees had been discussed with me. I told him yes, that I would be charged $29.95 and if we decided to have the work done that the $29.95 would be waived. He had this perplexed look on his face and explained that we charge $120.00 to diagnose your problem. He called the office and the owner Darla Thornton called me. She wanted to argue the point with me that her employee did not make an error and that the individual had been working with her for a while. She was very rude and uprofessional. Also, the individual I spoke with on the phone appeared to be new because I could tell she was reading from a script or trying to remember what points she need to hit. Bottom line if I was told there would be a $120.00 fee from the beginning I would have paid that amount. more

Fantastic! 3/21/2011

First of all, I was very impressed with what I consider are a couple of key factors in an overall good experience. One of the young men that came out here from Mr. Electric was very well groomed, neat, polite, and friendly, but not in an overbearing way. He got here when he said he would get here, and worked hard while he was here. He even came back on his day off to finish a small part that was missing. He was just friendly, again not at all overbearing, and he did a very good, professional job. B. Carter more

I was very pleased with Mr. Electric San Antonio. Joe and Roger are phenomenal. I really wish I would have discovered them years ago. They're reliable, safe and trustworthy. They provided the best service I've ever had. If I could have rated them higher, I would have. I highly recommend them! more

Thank you for an exceptionally superb job. The work required was quite extensive. It included new-dedicated circuits, trenches, conduit, outlets, etc. The work was so meticulously done that there isnt even a trace of the required trench having been dug in the yard. The results were flawless. A very special thank you to the gentleman that did all of the work, Mr. George Montoya. Mr. Montoya is the consummate professional. Mr. Montoya was prompt completely explained the work to be done, and worked tirelessly to complete the job. Mr. Montoya is simply the very best. I would recommend your company (Mr. Electric) and Mr. George Montoya without hesitation. more

I have found my electricians at Mr. Electric San Antonio! 2/22/2011

I was doing some remodeling when I first contacted Mr. Electric San Antonio. Tony the technician arrived on time and with such a helpful attitude. It was obvious to me that he was very customer service-oriented. He was very personable and friendly too. He made really great suggestions and was good at choosing options and with positioning the lights. He'd stay until the job was finished and didn't just run off at 5pm. I also used them to change out some of my inside lights. They were always patient with me and took time in showing me information about specific light fixtures and the information I needed to make good decisions. I am so pleased with the results of both the outside lights and inside lights. Everything looks great! I highly recommend these guys, you won't be sorry. Cindy Cruz more
