Best

We had the best experience using Moving Right Along. They came to us recommended by a real estate company that we use and we're so glad to have hired them. Everyone that helped us...

Worst

I hired Moving Right Along to move a couple of large, expensive pieces of furniture that I didn't want to risk moving myself. It cost $700 or so and I even paid for their extra in...

excellent workers! Job well done!!! 4/5/2013

Fantastic! 4/5/2013

Louis, Michael & Jose showed up on time and did a fantastic time with my move. We had some slight furniture issues and they figured out the best way to handle them. This is important to me as I was already so stressed and couldn't handle any more issues. I needed a bed thrown out and they took to to the trash for me and when we got to the new apartment and placed furniture in my bedroom they didn't mind switching the furniture around when I changed my mind (I think most movers would have been annoyed at this...if they were, they didn't show it). They were pleasant and professional and I would absolutely recommend them again. more

Wonderful!!!! 3/27/2013

From Tim who set everything up on the phone, to John and his crew who moved us, things went perfect! They were so nice! Explained everything, and were quick and eddicient! Even finished quicker then the estimated time and it cost us less then the quote which is unheard of! I recommend! more

Excellent Job 3/22/2013

In our first move in 17 years we had great trepidation. The team from MRA was terrific - followed all instructions, worked well together got the job done as per the time/cost estimate. There were no surprises. I was also impressed at the way the way foreman treated the crew - an excellent team leader. more

Punctual, thorough, professional 3/21/2013

Ralph Colon, Ralph Williams & K Chatterpaul ( Paul) were pleasant, professional & very respectful. I was very fortunate to have this crew assigned to my move. They were a pleasure to have in my home. They made a stressful experience bearable. They took pride in their work & were a good team. Everyone should have the same experience when they move. more

Nice guys, everything moved quickly and professionally 3/12/2013

I hired Moving Right Along to move an upright piano and a large amount of furniture from my father's house into mine. They worked hard, moved everything quickly, they were friendly, and everything arrived in perfect condition. It was an easy move, and I'm glad I hired them. more

The team was a delight to work with, and did a terrific job working with the elderly client, who was understandably nervous about moving into a new space. The guys were all very patient and willing to move the furniture around until the client was satisfied. I was very proud to be part of the team and to work with such a fine group of professionals. more

I wanted to compliment Moving Right Along and, in particular, your excellent moving team on a job well done. This has been a difficult time for us with the passing of my parents. Your excellent work moving my parents stuff out of their apartment made a difficult part of this experience easier to deal with. I appreciate a job well done. more

Way to much damage 2/24/2010

I can't recommend NOT using Moving Right Along strongly enough. First, they're a bit sleazy. When the movers arrived at my apartment the day of the move, I was required to sign a document stating that I'd be responsible for all parking tickets. I was told that they would not perform the move if I didn't. I should have been informed about this policy when getting the estimate. The loading-up phase went OK. It was when we got to my new place that the problems started. First, I was informed that they left my desk in the elevator at my old building! The plan was that they'd unload all my stuff into the basement in my new building, then go back with the empty truck and get my desk. Since they're now under the gun with respect to time, they started tossing my stuff around. Of the ten pieces of furniture they moved for me, six arrived with scratches or gouges. They also left dollies full of boxes in the public hallway for 45 minutes at a time, irritating my new neighbors. The claims process was pretty unpleasant, and gave me the feeling that they were hoping that if they made it difficult enough, I'd just go away. The ""furniture repairman"" they sent was a joke; he tried to fix everything by slathering on wood putty and rubbing with a towel. I don't believe his repairs would be considered acceptable by anyone. The claims manager, Natasha, made herself extremely hard to reach. She claimed to have never received a single email I sent her. Most of my calls to her went unreturned. When I did reach her, she'd have to call me back ""in a day or two."" I'd never get a callback, and I'd end up chasing her down a week later. I'm still negotiating a settlement with them, and considering a lawsuit. Save yourself time and grief, and use a different mover. Pros: They showed up on time Cons: Damaged most of my furniture; diffiult claims process more
