Movie Store

I am extremely disappointed and upset with the POOR service I received at the Movie Store (rt 50. Ballston Spa, Carousel Village Plaza). I rented 2 new movies - paying nearly $8.00 for just ONE day. I was a mere half hour late returning the videos and the rude chick at the counter made me pay a ANOTHER $8.00 late fee. She would NOT give me any grace... so I spent around $16 to rent two videos for ONE DAY. Where is your customer service? I have been renting videos there for 9 years and this is how I am treated? I just signed-up for Netflix, I won't EVER be returning to the Movie Store. I'm really upset by the lack of customer appreciate and service. I hope $8.00 was worth losing a customer for life. No wonder their other store on Rt 9 in Saratoga went out of business! GET WITH THE TIMES, if you want to stay in the game be REASONABLE with your late fees. You'd think I was a week delinquent. I went to the local video store ( the Movie Store on Rte 50 in Ballston Spa, across from Pizza Hut) looking for a movie for the kids. I didn't know the name of the movie, but I knew a couple of actors in it. An employee asked if I needed help finding something, and I explained. Not only did she know the movie, but she went and got it for me!! She then explained the specials, which they have every day! What a big difference from Red Box! Not only did I get 5 movies for 5 days, but it cost me less than $6!! While I was looking around the store ( which has thousands of movies!) I noticed a whole other store! You can make copies there for ten cents! They will make them for you! Colored copies, too! I think those are a little more! No more driving to Saratoga for me! They even offer fax services, outgoing and incoming! They do film developing! The owners are professional wedding photographers who were extremely helpful! They also do photo restoration, business cards and banners! The best thing I found out was that they are a licensed UPS store, they pack boxes, ship and take pre paid packages! The owners took time out of what they were doing to explain to me exactly what services they offer there. I went in looking for a movie for the kids and I found a whole other store I was unaware of. It's not easy to find a business that not only focuses on their product, but also the customer. And I haven't been treated that well in a business for a long time! I highly recommend the Movie Store and I will definately be back! Hopefully those people that took so much time to help me read this, it was a great experience. How often can you say that? Pros: excellent customer service, wide variety of services! Cons: none that i saw more
