Not a single item was broken, scratched or damaged: Moving is a very stressful event but your movers who did our job this past Friday made it easy, painless and exceptionally quick. They were a pleasure to work with. They were polite and very friendly. They worked swiftly and efficiently and were able to move us from door to door in a mere four hours. We had packed most of our items before they arrived but in cases where we had some leftover objects they provided us with boxes and packed whatever remained. We were especially grateful that they had wardrobe boxes for all our hanging items as we had not been able to find boxes of our own to use before the move. Not a single item was broken, scratched or even dented in the move. I thank my parents everyday: Moving was on my itinerary, unfortunately, and I had a crazy amount of belongings to lug. My parents persuaded me into hiring a moving company, which I was so opposed to, but realized I had no choice. Movers Boston came to my rescue, literally. Their price was the cheapest I found and their services were exquisite. I actually had a great time with the crew, they were so hilarious!!! We even took a break and I ordered and treated them to lunch, it was well earned. They moved quick and efficiently, was there a scratch on anything? NO. Did anything get damaged? I hired Movers Boston a few weeks ago to move me across town. What an exceptional job. I changed my dates a few times and they were great at working with me! They showed up and went right to work. The high reviews here for Movers Boston led me to choose them for a recent move--things went very well. Whenever I need movers I always assume I'm going to wind up with ex-cons at the place smashing my things around (it has actually happened with other companies). Wasn't the case with Movers Boston. These guys seemed professional and trustworthy. They were right on time and finished the job in an hour less than they originally estimated. We had to move a 3-bedroom 1700sq ft house, make a stop at a nearby second address for a few more things, and move it all 14 miles away and they got it done in 5 1/2 hours. We don't have a massive amount of stuff--but this was pretty efficient work. Price-wise they were fair--I paid about $650 for the whole move. I didn't shop this move that thoroughly but we had stairs at a new address and they were careful with everything--so I didn't see any reason to have an issue with the price I was charged. Would definitely use them again. The only negative I had with them was that I had some trouble reaching them. I booked them originally via email--but later had some additional questions--so I sent a second email. This didn't get replied to within a reasonable period of time, so I called to see if I could get answers that way. Calls pretty much seem to send you 24/7 to voicemail. I had to wait a considerable amount of time for a callback--but they did eventually get back to me. Fortunately nothing I was inquiring about was urgent and they showed up dead on time on move-day (which is really the key thing) so I didn't hold it against them. more

I was using this company to move me from Brooklyn NY to Chelsea MA. The crew was working for 18 hours non stop. I think it's a great moving company and I would defiantly use them again. more

We have used pods in the past and this time shopped around for price. Movers Boston was priced lower and they could deliver the next day - others couldn't. I was so surprised when the unit arrived. It was so clean inside and more like a moving truck inside than a box like we had with pods. With the racking system they have, we were able to secure an odd shaped antique spinning wheel perfectly. Also, they didn't leave it sitting in the parking lot, it went to their warehouse the day after we finished loading. Customer service was great and everything was in perfect condition when we had it re-delivered to our condo. So much easier to load than a U-Haul. more

Quick, no-nonsense, painless move: and I couldn't be happier. Rates from Movers Boston were reasonable and far less than other places I called. Guys were sweet and even let me and my feline ride in their sweet van so that I didn't have to schlep to the subway. Everything was smooth and easy and I didn't have to do any of it! more

I have used Movers Boston for 4 moves and every time it has been a great experience. The moves arrived on time and were fast and friendly. They made sure that all the furniture and boxes were moved into the appropriate rooms at the new location. And even set up some of the furniture for me. I've recommended them to several family members and would recommend them in the future. more

It took three hours to move a two bedroom apartment on the third floor (slow elevator) to a condo on the 14th floor (fast elevator, dedicated to the movers). They worked really fast and everything showed up in one piece. They spend some time wrapping up your furniture to make sure it doesn't get damaged. They were friendly and the crew was really quiet also, which I think the neighbors in both buildings appreciate. They give you some boxes to help you move, which might save you a little cash. Also, they'll bring a few wardrobe boxes on the day you move for you to hang clothes in. You'll have to have a random amount of cash on you since they don't accept checks or credit cards. That's the only bad part about this otherwise excellent moving service. more
