Move Daddy tem came on time with a nice van and they were well equipped with necessary tools. They brought the packing materials with them. They carefully packed my items, moved to the new location and stored according to my instructions. They were smart enough to solve the unwanted problems. They were friendly, ready to take some extra responsibilities and they were quite fast. It was worthy hiring them! more

This was my first time moving out of the house I grew up in, so I was understandably nervous. I had a lot of furniture so I was pretty worried about things being damaged, stolen, or lost. Thankfully, all my worries were for naught! These guys at Move Daddy were very professional, careful, and efficient. Untrustworthy as a company, although they have excellent laborers. 8/2/2013

I had this hundred dollar voucher from MoveDaddy.com and I specifically asked before the move if I would be able to be use it for the job. The voucher was for any move with a minimum of three hours. My move went over the three hours and instead of taking the voucher they said they would, I was given another check to use on another move. There was also was a fifteen percent surcharge that was hidden way down in the confirmation email. So the total bill ended up being almost $200 more than what I thought it would be. The men who moved me worked their butts off. They didn't take a single break, were very courteous, and were very careful with my stuff. But MoveDaddy.com as a company I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Make sure you read the fine print. There is a fifteen percent surcharge and it doesn't matter how far you're moving. I was only moving across town, so I had this fuel surcharge to go ten miles that cost me almost $80. And strangely enough, when I called their office to ask someone about it there wasn't anyone there. more

GREAT EXPERIENCE! 7/30/2013

After a horrible experience with my last movers, I was very careful in choosing a GREAT mover this time around. Move Daddy picked up my belongings and stored it for 2 months while waiting for our house to finish building. The crew that picked up our furniture and delivered it were extremely good. Keep up the good work. I will be sure to tell everyone our great experience with Move Daddy! more

I was very impressed with the timeliness, professionalism and attention to detail that our movers, Lance and Nester provided. We needed loading service of some heavy furniture items, and they handled everything carefully as well as making sure the items were securely properly for our long haul. Could not have asked for a better group to handle this job for us! more

MoveDaddy.com did some things that they didn't have to do but they did it anyway. It was a large move across town. I would use them again in the future. They're very nice. If you want a professional job they are the ones to use. more

After contacting over 6 moving companies, I chose move Daddy because of their fast and detailed response to my emailed quote request as well as their relatively affordable pricing and because they seemed trustworthy (which they most certainly were!).From my first point of contact, I was very happy with the company as they responded very quickly to my initial email (within 1 hour of my email on the same day! Fantastic response time!). I was also happy because the response was very detailed, thorough and professional. All of my additional emails were likewise responded to very promptly and answered all of my follow up questions. The move itself was perfect. Nate showed up right on time with his team and got straight to work. They were extremely speedy and this move was very quick which made us happy since we chose to pay by the hour. We have had bad experiences in the past when paying by the hour that the guys would take a lot of breaks to draw out the move in order to make us pay more but there was none of that with Move Daddy. They were very quick and drove straight to our new address and unloaded even quicker than they had packed everything up! The driver of the van knew Watson, AL very well and he found our new home perfectly! more

hidden fuel charges and 100 trip charge 7/1/2013

Move daddy gives you 100 in move bucks only to charge you a 100 trip charge no matter where your at even right on 280 down from their office 100 just to get to you also you pay hourly plus 15% of your total move you pay in gas. We had everything packed and it took the movers 4 hours to move 2 bedrooms and a living room no appliances. I have moved several times due to work and used several moving companies but never again with Move Daddy more

Deceitful and Rude 7/1/2013

This company quoted me a rate of $119/hr. They worked for 2 hours and 25 minutes and bumped up the time to 3 hours. They also add on a $100 "transportation" fee at the end. In the end, I paid $450 to move a 1 bedroom apartment 5 miles away. When I spoke with the customer service. He was rude and condescending and informed me that if I "knew how to read" then I would have seen the excess charges in the contract that I signed and should've been aware. more

I have worked with MoveDaddy.com on 4 office moves. They are prompt, professional and easy to work with. The actual movers are always friendly, helpful and patient. We had no issues and not one thing was broken throughout all of the moves. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs to move their personal or office stuff. more

My husband and I used this company to move out of our 1200 SF, 3 bedroom/2 bath house in Fultondale to Sylvan Springs, GA. Their employees showed up on time, were very friendly, and I was amazed at how fast they were able to get things done. We have a lot of antiques and fragile items that they did an outstanding job securely packaging and transporting for us. Not one item was broken, scuffed, or banged up. They provided all of the packing tape, blankets, and boxes for items we didn't have packed already like our big flat screen TV's, large mirrors, and glass decor. The wardrobe boxes they supplied for free made it easy to pack up our clothes in just a few minutes, which was really nice. To load up at our previous house and unload at the new one, including furniture set up and putting the labeled boxes in each room, it was only 6-7 hours! Worth every penny! I would definitely recommend Move Daddy to anyone who wants to take the worry and stress out of moving. more

Our Best Move ! 6/24/2013

I wanted to send you an email expressing how happy we were with our recent move handled by Move Daddy. We moved locally, but found that it was as much work for us as a long distance move! Our crew was headed by Gary. While every mover that we had during our 2 days move was professional and courteous, Move Daddy really stood out. He took time to talk to us about all of our concerns, like which of our possessions needed special treatment. He, and his crew, did their best to make everything go smoothly at both ends. We appreciate everything that Move Daddy did to make this our best move yet! more

Lance and his crew showed up right in the middle of the two-hour arrival window, which was great. They were friendly, worked fast and hard, and had my studio apt in Hoover packed and moved in a little over 4 hours to my new place in Helena, AL. I was very ready with everything boxed but they took proper care with wrapping my furniture, which was the only thing I had not done ahead of time. Not a thing was broken or scratched. They made my move so easy and hassle-free. Thanks! more

Excellent Job ! 6/12/2013

Move Daddys team did an excellent job moving my daughters belongings back home from her collage apartment upstate. Charles and his crew worked hard and didnt waste a second of the time I paid them. It wasnt a big move but it was about 4 hours drive and it was important for us to know that the little bit she has will arrive home safe. It is also very relieving to know that our daughter was in good hands. I was quite impressed with a great job they did, and will refer Move Daddy to others. more

I moved just two miles down the road with Move Daddy. In general, the move went well and I was pleased. I booked my move with Move Daddy and they send me a quote via email. On the move day, Lance and his team were on time to pick up my shipment. They wrapped my furniture and other delicate items and carefully loaded everything to their truck. Move Daddy team shows interest in customers wishes and in general carefully handled all of their belongings. You could tell they wanted to do the job right. more

My boyfriend and I decided to move together from too different locations in Fultondale AL, to Homewood, GA and Move Daddy did a great job! Sean the manager was very helpful and understood our situation. He offered us very good deal and managed to schedule our pickup date in both locations for the same date as we asked. Last month, I bought a 3 seats sofa. I thought it would fit in my vehicle but it didn’t. It was late at night around 8pm. I didn’t have anyone to help me so I called Move Daddy. Nate the Foreman and his team member loaded up my sofa and drove it over to my apartment. They are always available and flexible. I recommend this company without reservation. more
