Hedgehog vets! 8/1/2010

They are very good at what they do and I love how sanitary the place is. They have 2 vets that specialize in hedgehogs, and my hedgie will only go to them. Great service and nice vets! more

The very best!!! 7/6/2010

Mountain Vista Animal Hospital have seen us through some pretty tough times. We lost our two female boxers last year, but Dr April and the staff were right there with us, grieving as much as we did. They are like an extended family to us and we will never go elsewhere. more

Would not go anywhere else 7/6/2010

We have been bringing our dogs to Mountain Vista for the past 6 years. Dr April is incredible and so is the rest of the staff. We would not go anywhere else. more

By Far the Best Vet in Vegas 7/6/2008

I have been a client of Dr. Bill Taylor at Mountain Vista Animal Hospital for over 16 years. I have referred everyone I know to him and everyone agrees that it was the best decision they ever made. Dr. Taylor and the staff of MVAH are outstanding and I highly recommend them to anyone. If Dr. Taylor treated people I'd go to him too! He has always given every one of my pets the best care they could ever receive. more

We recently had one of our dogs pass away, and the staff treated us with compassion and professionalism were second to no one.\r \r The vets in this business are top professionals, and the support staff has the same professional attitude. You cannot go wrong with this vet. Pros: Great staff, easy to talk to, and they eagerly answer any questions. Cons: Appointments can be difficult to get on short notice, emergencies are taken right away. more

a long wait is expected here 11/4/2005

We adopted my second cat here. The cost was $70. This included all the needed shots and spaying of the kitten. It would have cost more than that to do this on our own so it was more than worth it. Both of my cats don't mind going to the vet the staff is great. The only down side is that there is always a long wait, if you have a two PM appointment don't expect to be seen until about thirty minutes later. They have a sign appologizing for any delays, one would think that they need to schedule the pets further apart. more

The Best 8/30/2005

We decided to get a second opinion on a problem one of our pets was having and came here. Haven't been to another vet since. Bottom line is they love animals and it shows in the way they conduct business. If you have a pet this is the place to go. PROS: They care. CONS: What cons? more

Dr. Doolittle works here!!! 8/30/2005

MVAH has been the primary care for my dog. The first time I went there the staff was exceptionaly friendly. The doctor met with Sugar and there was an instand bond. My dog licked him right in the face. I will continue to take Sugar and any future animals I have to this clinic, because of the wonderful treatment of my pet. more

Animal lovers to the fullest 8/30/2005

I have been to veterinarians all over the country and I have to say that MVAH has a wonderful, caring and loving staff. The staff deeply care for their little furry patients and care for the owners as well. The doctors are professional, courteous and caring. The staff is friendly, loving towards all kinds of little and big creatures, and are all around wonderful. I have recommended everyone I know with an animal to go to MVAH, and I have never regretted it. PROS: They are head over heals for animals of every kind. CONS: They prefer animals over humans, lol. more

we found this animal clinic 16 years ago the night we moved to Las Vegas the cat had become ill and he was seen immediately . As far as we are concern they have set the standard in pet care. Over the years we have had many pets. We have found the clinic to be warm and friendly the doctor's (some of whom have been there for years) to be accurate with their medical diagnostics and reliable in their treatment of our pets.This is a GREAT local-neighborhood pet clinic where the staff makes you feel at home. The clinic always tries to be incredibly sympathic when you suffer the loss of a pet I can think of several times they sent to us sympathy cards signed by the whole staff, staff has called our family to see how we were doing and in one case even donated in our pets name to a foundation for aging pet research, the cat lived to 23. Now just how many vet's would do that? PROS: we are happy with the care give to our pets and never have to worry CONS: In 16 years i still can't find anything more

receptionists unprofessional 3 times 7/27/2005

I went to this vet because they were located close to my house. When I came into the business It smelled really bad. I wanted to get my dogs vaccinated and had to make an appointment to come back although there were no other cars in the lot and no one in the waiting room. A month or two later, I called to get my dogs heartworm medication because we were traveling to a mosquito infested part of the country. The person on the phone got into an argument with me, insisting that there was no need, although my parents local vet in NE recommended it. Never went back, never regretted it! more
