Mountain Avenue Laundry

I really liked this laundromat. It's a tad far from my house but worth it. It was clean and well maintained. In the two hours I was there I saw the owner/manager sweep up four times. There were plenty of washers and dryers. No wait is always a plus in my book. Also, there were plenty of seats to wait for my clothes to finish. more

That about sums it up. My wife and I had been looking for a while for one. The first was not clean enough. The second one was huge, but still didn't seem to have enough machines available for it's size which was very strange. It did have a small arcade, not that that impressed my wife, but the dryers - didn't. So as is always the story, you stumble upon one close to home, smaller than the rest, but the people who own it are so nice. He and his wife run it and you couldn't ask for better service given the size. There are four big screen TV's, reading chairs, close to food shops, a change machine, and the dryers are HOT! We're done in no time. The owners wife is very kind to us; she's helping us with our conversational spanish. ¡Nosotros lo veremos próxima semana! Pros: Watched movie while.., we washed. Everything, done at one time. Cons: A bit small, but ok.. more
