A love for God and people here at Mt Hope Church. Great Worship music. I've been attending for about 8 months. Skin color has no importance here, just your 'heart'... for God, and...

...which, they don't really tell you, until you're hooked by all the friendly people, the bible studies, free coffee, work-out facility...anything to keep you there and donating. The focus here is on edgy worship music, worship teams, kids, and 'spiritual gifts', i.e. speaking in tongues, etc. They equate the holy spirit with the unquenchable fire, which my interpretation is that that God the Father is the unquenchable fire, the one who will come to baptize with fire. I stay away from these groups, even when I travel. Folks, it is not about pleasing ourselves, it's about worshiping our Creator. more
