Upon test driving a vehicle at Motor Trends in Alvin, TX, the service engine message appeared which I was promised would be fixed before purchasing. 4 days later I returned to pick up the vehicle and found within 1 hour that the a/c had stopped working. I immediately advised the dealer and was assured in writing once I sent the repair bill to them that they would reimburse me for the cost of the replacement battery. Motor Trends then stated they would not reimburse me until I had signed a full waiver of all future rights. I told them I would only sign a waiver of rights relative to the battery but would not sign away my rights to pursue other issues should they arise and now they will not reimburse me for the repair. I purchased this vehicle in good faith, was given extremely poor customer service when I reported the issue having been told I was not to take it to a ""high end"" repair shop only to a ""mom and pop"" or to drive it over an hour back to the dealership. Having done everything they instructed and lost a full day of work to get the vehicle repaired immediately, Motor Trend has taken advantage of me and not done the right thing. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone...beware of the lies and the lemon. Motor Trends should be ashamed!
