The hotel was conveniently located right off the Paola (in Olathe, KS) exit and was very easy to access. This hotel seems to be newer, built within the last 5 years (we would estimate). We had a single, nonsmoking room and stayed for 4 nights. The hotel had a clean smell, with the exception to the elevator stunk of smoke and when the fan in the bathroom was turned on, smoke smell filled the room. Once the fan was off, the smell would go away rather quickly. The breakfast was simple and did include an option to make waffles. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who looking for an inexpensive, simple hotel with having all the convenience of location more

We stayed five nights for a family get-together. Friendly, helpful staff. They always provided more towels when you asked. Nice pool. Dirty hot tub. Average continental breakfast. The AC in the room worked great. The internet station was down the whole time, though. Overall, not great but not bad. For what we paid, it was decent. more

This is a nice hotel. Clean rooms, helpful staff. Close to I-35. The only thing I can see that could use improvement would be for microwaves and fridges to be put in the rooms. more

My husband and I had gone to Ottawa for an eye appointment, and on the way back to Gardner to see our daughter and her husband, we found this hotel. There were only a few rooms left. We found the price to be very reasonable, the room was clean, and it was quiet. It was conveniently located. Overall had a good experience staying here, would recommend it to others, and would definitely stay there again. more

Best time ever!! 3/24/2014

We were so happy to have picked this hotel for our first visit to Olathe, KS. It was close to so many attractions that we walked too easily. The breakfast buffet was absolutely one of the best. Breakfast Staff does an excellent job and was so pleasant and friendly to all the guests. Our rooms were very, very nice and comfortable--more spacious that we imagined. All in all, the Microtel Inn & Suites gave us a wonderful Fiesta vacation!!! more

The hotel is in an excellent location for us. My special comments are for the staff. They have done so many things to assist us when we have stayed here. We come to visit an elderly parent who lives in an assisted living complex close to the hotel and the staff has been so very gracious to us and our needs. more
