Mosaic Restaurant and Wine Lounge

This is hands down the best resteraunt we have ever been to. We have been there many times. Even when we lived 2 hours away we would come all of the way to Forestville to have the best cuisine humanly possible. I say this without exaggeration. This is the best food you will find. The restaurant is amazing. The ambiance is perfect. We love the fire pit in the back yard/garden with redwoods and artistic landscaping, all perfectly lit, as to not ruin the vibe. We have even been welcomed with our children. Tai was able to whip up something special and basic for the children to their liking. We will always be #1 in the Mosaic fan club!! Pros: Everything.. especially the creator, Tai. Cons: No full bar..but Great wine!! more

We just happened apon this place, out in sleepy little Forestville one night, went there for our 9th anniversary dinner. We were served by the most delightful young lady, ""ELLEN"", she made us feel like we were her only customers, talk about a professional and it shows in the love in her eyes, that she is there to make you happy and she is very happy at what she is doing. we had the most incredible meals there that night and there after, and the wine list, once again ""WOW"", this has become our FAVORITE restaurant in the bay area, you walk away from your dining experience with such warmth in your soul, you want to call all your friends and say ""you gotta go to Mosaics in Forestville, out near the river resorts"", and the SALADS, are a must, all created by the wonderful chef, Enjoy your dining experience there and make reservations... you'll NOT be dissapointed Pros: everything was a pro for us Cons: ok, the parking situation is lousy but you walk from your car to a great dining experience, and then you'll even enjoy the romantic walk back to your car afterwards more

Mosaic.... what words can I use, this restaurant is absolutely GEORGEOUS. I happen to live in Forestville and my birthday was celebrated at Mosaic in Dec 2005. I have dined at first class restaurants before but this was different. None of those places provided such ambiance. Mosaic is more than just a meal, it's a dining experience. Pros: Ambience, Service, Great Food Cons: Forestville lacks in the Parking Lots department but, it's a small town and that is to be expected more
