The servers are just looking for big tips, and since it is so overpriced, they get them by default.

Mo's A great place for steaks??? 6/16/2004

I have been to many fine steak houses. When I order a filet medium I want it to melt in my mouth. If its a prime cut and cooked right it should. Although they did offer to take it back, I believe a fine steakhouse should cook it right the first time. The service was fantastic, the sides were great(large portions). Everything was a pleasant experience, except for the one thing they are known for, STEAK.($38) If you are planning on a steak dinner, try the other recommmended steakhouses(better value). Mo's, a Classic Destination! 6/8/2004

Johnny V. has developed an incredible destination venue with Mo's A Place for Steaks. He renovated this two floor restaurant into a fine dinning Mecca. Mo's is a traditional and formal restaurant that is welcoming and unpretentious. I highly recommend your steak be prepared Sicilian style with Olive oil and lightly breaded, they are my favorite! It is good to know that Mo's meals are presented ala Carte. Because of this, be prepared to eat a sizable meal if you like your meal balanced with the various food groups. Mo's wine selection is outstanding! Expect a wide variety of red's and white's. If you happen to have a hard to find personal favorite, Mo's has a nominal cork fee for those wines brought in by you. I feel you can't find a better blend of food, wine and location in Milwaukee beyond Mo's a Place for Steaks. Bon Appetite! FABULOUS - Best in Town! (BAD RANK!) 5/15/2003

Deserves to be higher, probably 1 or 2! Excellent restaurant all around....food, ambience and service all rate high. Food was excellent, even non-steak entrees and all appetizers. Excellent! 3/15/2003

My husband and I had anc incredible meal here. My veal chop was out of this world and my husband's filet was a melt in your mouth delight! The service was impeccable and dessert was complimentary and delicious as well. Highly recommend Mo's for an unforgettable evening. Pros: service, quality of food, great wine list more

I enjoyed Moe's Steaks. I've eaten several times there. I just thought the prices were a bit much. A bake potatoe should at least come with your meal. The service on a good day are excellent! I plan come back and hopefully it's on a good day! Pros: Atmosphere Cons: waiting for table more

Still the best steak I have tasted to date. I really enjoy that all the extras are extra. You can get exactly what you want. The bar/lounge area is perfect for before or after dinner drinks. If you leave the table for what ever reason your head or asst waiter will clean your area and leave you with a new napkin. Beautiful little touch. I dine at Mo's often and their steaks are exceptional. I usually have the filet mignon along with asparagus or steamed spinach. My fiance enjoys their lobster tail with tenderloin. The service is the best in the business. At this restaurant, be sure to be treated like royalty, if only for one night. Pros: Service more

Food & service bad 11/14/2002

I really feel that mo's should not be placed in the top 10 plaecs in Milwaukee. I ate there and have to say the service and most of all the food really was bad. I would never, ever tell any one about Mo's. I use to eat at that Place when it was Clock Steak House and sure it was not the best place in Milwaukee it was in the top 10 places. I have to say it was 100% better than Mo's. Maybe they could get a hold of the old owns and get some help . Pros: nice setting area, good bar, good location Cons: service poor, food cold, and no real taste more

I heard good reviews, however, I wasn't that impressed. Dinner for 2 cost me almost $100.00. I've had steak at other places for $75 or less that was better. I wouldn't go back. Over -priced for what you get. You pay for the downtown atmosphere. more

Worthwhile! 7/10/2002

Wasn't sure what to expect when we visited Moe's but to say the least, it was unique. Food was very, very good. Steaks were outstanding. A little pricey but well worth it for that special occasion. more
